Re: Hot Toys Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Knightmare Batman Collectible Figure
I agree.Oddly, I think this is my favorite of the three Batmans. Just really different.
It's called Apocalypse? And there are Parademons in the trailer.
Anyway, 3 Bats planned up with possible v.2 and Suicide Squad and Justice League versions....

Refer to the card on the bottom left.
Just what we've seen from the trailers, I'd have included a Bruce Wayne sculpt on this one if I were HT. The other eyes and face plates too. I think the Bruce Wayne head could be used as a marketing poly to get people to buy this 'lesser' version of Batman compared to the standard and armored figures. Those two will sell regardless of what extras they include. This look isn't for everyone and a think like the only unmasked headsculpt could be a good motivator for fence sitters.
But con figures usually never contain all of the accessories in an early prototype stage, so I'm not concerned with a lack of face plate or unmasked head at this point.
Still my favorite of the three looks for some odd reason. The armored is cool because of what it is and the standard is cool because its nice to finally get a non-all-black Batman movie costume. But this is neat because its so not-Batman and still somehow remaining oh-so-Batman. I guess it goes back to Batman being master of disguises when he needs to be and adapting to his environment and situation. There's just something to it I can't quite put my finger on that works.
Really makes you wonder how deep they'll get into this line now. I'd have thought Bats, Supes, Armor Bats, Wonder Woman and done. They could go Lex, Aquaman, and Doomsday deep now too.
I'm curious if he has more faceplates or if this only comes with the angry face. It's odd that they had all the faceplates for the armored versions and the regular on display, but none for this one with all of his hands. It makes me wonder if maybe we won't see a Bruce Wayne head.
This batman must be just like George Clooney batman. He just happen to bring his "doomsday eye laser beam deflecting gauntlets". Then he will pop open some Ice skates out his boots and get away. Duh!This figure should have a frightened-expression faceplate just like in the trailer. This Batman is the first to show fear, he also looked helpless and scared when Doomsday showed up and zapped him with his "heat vision." Instead of using his car's ejection seat to escape, he just tries to shield himself with his arms. So uncharacteristic, so un-Batman.
