Just saw this. I had no doubt sideshow were gonna fix the knees. That was the only issue I ever had with the figure. Even more pumped now.
It aint sideshow thats fixing the leg. They have nothing to do with Hot Toys except the distribution aspect.

I like it. Much better.

Going through the whole thread was making my hands ache, so, I don't know if anyone else noticed, but, if you look at the production credits for this figure, Margot's name is mentioned under sculpting. This could be because her head was scanned, hence the really accurate likeness. I also think that this is the same for both Deadshot and The Joker.

As for the legs being plastic and jointed, it's possible that the process used for printing the tattoos may not work on rubber. If you look at the close ups of the tattoos on her torso, they don't look like waterslide decals.

I so hope that you guys will be happy with the production version...

YES! They're like the SH Figuarts legs now.

this is exactly what i wanted, and people were saying it didn't look any better. :cuckoo:

Looks like they'll still be plastic jointed legs, but with better hidden joints.

Just one cut, below the kneecap, instead of above and below.

I'm perfectly fine with that method if it means we won't get sculpts like BR Bruce Wayne anymore. :lecture

Looks great, now the sculpt just needs to be more neutral or add a second sculpt (which they won't do because cheap) and we're all good. Hope my ex waitlist converts.

Where was it that it credited Margot for the sculpt? I'm pretty sure this wasn't a digital scan. I remember one of the sculptors taking credit on Facebook when the figure was first shown.

All of those artists, and more, are on Sideshow's product page:

So-Young Lee (Head Sculpt)
Hyeon-Jeong, Kim (Head Sculpt)
Jae-sung, Eom (Head Sculpt, Body Sculpt)
Da-hye, Kim (Body Sculpt)
Yeon-seon, Jeon (Body Sculpt)
Eun-kyung, Kim (Body Sculpt)
Su-wan, Gu (Body Sculpt)
Ha-Young, Kang (Body Sculpt)
JC. Hong (Head Paint, Head Art Direction)

I can't remember where I saw it now, but, she was down as Margot Elise Robbie on the list I saw. Seems odd to me that there are so many people working on the head sculpt, isn't it usually say Kojun, Yulli or whoever and that's it? I don't remember there being 3 before, unless they were the ones using the digital equipment. I just saw the listing on HT's site and she's not mentioned, but I'm sure I saw her listed on FB, I suppose it could have been a listing for the prototype that I saw.

So Young Lee is a boss sculptor. Seems like when I see an HT sculpt I like, I check to see who sculpted it, & yep, it winds up being her .....
