Sigh. I preordered this through BBTS. I just get a sneaking suspicion she's gonna sell out and I don't want to be caught off guard in that case. I really feel this would have been the figure to revive PERS with. Update it to 2016 technology and do what HT has done best, innovate. Still, I think the sculpt looks great; I just don't like to be limited in my posing.

HT would have had to compromise the likeness for PERS. Likeness was what they'd been taking hits on the most so PERS had to go. It would have proved far too expensive to tailor the PERS unit for each head, so they went with a standard one, which happened to be Bruce Lee's. The likeness had to be compromised to fit round it which is why we got figures like the DX Arnies and Indys looking as bad as they did.

Unless the figure is a miniature version of the actor, people won't want to know. Harley with PERS just wouldn't have been cost effective and neither would it have looked like Margot Robbie.

DX11 and 13 both have PERS and they are two of the best headscults out there in my opinion

The DX11 was where they got lucky as they were probably able to use DX01 PERS which was tailored for Heath. The DX13 was one of the compromised sculpts and wasn't anywhere near as good as it could have been.

HT have improved greatly when it comes to the likenesses in most of their releases since they dropped it and they want to continue to improve

That's why I emphasized 2016 tech and state of the art innovations. I completely believe PERS is feasible without inhibiting the sculpt. If it goes wrong, it goes really wrong, yes, but I don't see why we can't have a new system that achieves the same effects. No reason for them to reuse old units that haven't been touched for years. You even stated that Heath had a tailored PERS system, I don't see why Harley couldn't get that treatment.

It has to do with cost, as I said, they couldn't produce a whole line of figures with individually tailored PERS. Heath just happened to be what they had left from the DX01 (Don't forget that he was the first and they had no idea then if PERS would take off.), they couldn't use it on MJ or Bruce and then it just wasn't cost effective to keep tailoring it after that so they went with the Bruce unit.

Harley is only as good as she is precisely because they just did a straight sculpt with no gimmicks. The moment anyone read PERS they would automatically think of all the sculpts where it didn't work and pre-orders would have dropped off. It's all about those pre-orders now, if you don't knock their socks off they're not going to come in.

It's the lighting, that's the same prototype they've had at all the shows. There may be one with the new knees done, we'll have to wait and see.

Not to mention a permanent side looking eye profile is so hard to pose with straight on with other figures

I agree with what another person said...PERS would have been great on this figure...We know HT can do it and make it look good (ie., HT Michael Keaton Batman)...

Surprised anyone would think the DX13 sculpts look bad. Both look incredible to my eye, likeness could hardly be better.

To be honest, I think Harley Quinn would be a good fit for PERS. Like Jack Sparrow, she has expressive eyes, which is a big reason why PERS isn't intrusive on the DX06. It mainly looks odd on figures like the T-800, who have somewhat "dead" eyes.

I'm not saying they should make a Harley with PERS, but I think a slightly smiling Harley sculpt with PERS would look great.

I'd take anyone of these for multiple expressions on this figure. So many to choose from its hard to decide. I'm sure HT had a hard time deciding what expression to go with as well.

It's been wait listed since about the first week it went up for order.
