I guess it's time for the Nicholson Joker hate bandwagon and time for Ledger's Joker being the greatest thing since sliced bread. Cool.

Nicholson Joker best Joker.

Not as campy as Romero. Not as serious as Ledger. Not as goofy and one note as Leto (hopefully that changes in the future).

Only one to wear a trench coat and fedora hat whilst using weaponized laughing gas to murder people too, which is pretty important. He also had the best paraphernalia with his orange/green weapons, lethal gag weapons as well as the best thugs/gang.

The thing that sucks about him is that he died because Batman is a cheat and he was pretty stupid to think Vicki Vale actually wanted to blow him. Oh, and he was kind of fat. Would have been perfect if he was cast in 1980 look/physique that he had in the shining.

I love Nicholson's take so much, he has so much character himself he didn't have to be a try hard. :)

Leto wasn't terrible but the way he delivered some lines, bothered me... it just didn't sound genuine/natural... his laugh was repetitive and stupid.

I never liked Ledgers Joker, I have nothing positive to say about his portrayal, lol.

Yeah Leto's laugh bothered me a lot too. That fake cackle he did sounded so stupid. The Joker is actually supposed to actually laugh because he's insane whereas instead with Leto's take it was like he was taking the character too seriously and only mimicked a laugh. His whole delivery of lines was awkward too. It was like he was trying to impersonate Ledger most of the time and for the most part his dialogue was awful.

I still see a lot of fanboyism for Nicholson and Ledger. If anything Leto is getting hate for his portrayal (deservedly).

I'd take

over

Hammy overacting (on Schumacher Riddler/Two-Face levels) that's overcompensating for the scene.

vs.

Low key, reserved, performance that prefaces an iconic line ("and where . . . Is the BATMAN, he's at home, washing his tights")

This isn't Leto's fault, but the Suicide Squad Joker didn't even have a memorable reveal scene that introduces the character. Nicholson and Ledger got two of them (surgery scene/you can call me the Joker and the bank heist/mob scene consecutively).

There was a great opportunity too which they totally blew. The scene with him and Harley in Arkham where she falls for him should have been classic. Instead it was just another scene in the film which didn't really add anything.

I love Nicholson's Joker so as Leto's. Wow, what now. I also love DC and Marvel. Wooow.

I loved how random Ledger and Nicholson's Jokers were, killing their own henchmen.

I love the Brian Douglas video from TDK. You laugh at the Joker then suddenly he screams 'LOOK AT ME!'

How is that random? Bob failed to secure Joker's party so he departed him lol

Leto's Joker literally did nothing. He could have been entirely cut from the movie and not a single bit of the plot would have changed.
