The Suicide Squad hype died down pretty quickly when the film came out. It's funny that everyone was so excited for such ****e. Now HT has moved on to Doctor Strange and Star Wars.

Not saying rushed but most of their figures aren't a year and a half out from announcement like this one. It went up in July and won't release until September next year (and that's barring no delays). It just seems like an unusually long turn around time.

As was said by others, this isn't most figures. Cap, Bucky, superman, vision, Thor, ect all have mostly reused parts. Nothing on this figure is reused. It's more like an iron man figure (a new one not a repaint) in that way. Tooling is the largest time(and cost) a production item. And instead of a new head with short hair, like say joker or Hawkeye or fake real hair like black widow...this figure has a new head with articulated sculpted long hair..on top of a new set of arms, legs, boots, lower torso and upper torso. Very few figures have that amount of new tooling required. Those that do are the ones with longer wait times. She's essentially in the same category as iron man for how much sculpt/tooling work is required..plus she has all the added soft goods of a normal figure.

I don't know if these have been posted here:

I know I'm in the minority but I love the HS they've gone with. A nice change from the bland expressions we usually use. Really looking forward to getting this figure. Hopefully future Wonder Woman figures are able to capture Gal's likeness as well as this figure does with Margot.

these kinds of sculpts are much more impressive.

most companies will absolutely STRUGGLE to get that kind of cleanliness and detail in open mouthed expressions. it really shows off HT's confidence.

HT really has taken some great strides with open mouths lately. They're the only 1/6 scale ones I've seen that have really nailed it, most can't get the minutia of toothiness vs lip placement right. The expression is half the reason I want this figure.

As HT's price creeps up I wish they would include alternate sculpts the way they sometime did with the DX series. It's a drag setting up a pose and seeing a detached expression on the character's face. It makes me dial back on the action poses.

I'd love to see battle mode sculpt for this figure.
