I think a tall, lanky, Nazgul-esque trooper is pretty neat. A clone off-shoot of the Royal Guards perhaps.

The Deathtroopers are supposedly be slightly taller than the Stormtrooper as referenced in the HT photo



So it looks like this is coming along well. I'm still undecided between getting this or the RO Vader. I'm probably only getting one figure from this film so I want to be sure

It looks like you can via those slide buckles on the chest, like tightening or loosening a belt or strap sort of thing but there will be a partial bit of the strap that hangs over the shoulder coming from the back where it is perma fixed in.If that makes sense?!But i don't want to try i case i break it!

A shame HT is missing the scanner on his helmet.

I guess that's why he's the Specialist -- he don't need no stinking scanner.

I think it's easily the best looking rogue one trooper, albeit a little busy. It's also a nice contrast to krennic in his white giddup. But I do hesitate to get a bunch of ferocious looking shiny-black troopers, they verge on watering down vader's unique look in the star wars universe a bit. The neon green lights are perhaps a bit too Tom Clancy-ish. Have to see how well they are executed in the movie.

I see these guys being like Delta Squad or Navy Seals, where they're able to customize their loadout, armor and equipment as they see fit. There's probably some with and some without the helmet scanners.

They look exactly the same height as Vader. A roughly 6' man is looking Vader directly in the middle of his grill, with taller men looking him in the eye. It looks to be the same with the Death Troopers.

Probably why they don't exist in the OT -- Vader had them "removed".
