I thought I had it POd on BBTS but I didnt. I got on the waitlist but I doubt thatll turn I guess I missed out(dont want to pay $500+ for it) so I made sure today I POd the MK IV so I wont miss that.

The Mk. IV and V are not comparable though. They are both very unique in their own right, but there isn't really anything like the V. With the IV it's so similar to the VI that it's gonna be an easy pass for me.

By any chance does anyone know where I can still get one of these for a reasonable price? Im willing to pay markup, but not the insane prices they are charging on ebay.

600$ for this guy on eBay!? What the hell has happened the past few months with these aftermarket prices!?

Right? Actually over the last year it’s seems a lot of figures are skyrocketing in price. I saw hulkbuster from a normal retailer that’s been around years, who admittedly has higher prices, for nearly 3k. That’s just insane. You could have ordered that figure for like 3 years if you wanted, from Sideshow. These prices are like they where four or five years ago for a few figure like Hawkeye and Midas. But there’s more of them and it’s just normal releases.

Dang, for $3K I might sell one of mine.

I know right. That’s nutty money. It’s blackops that has it for that price. They are usually pretty high on prices. But like 500 for 350 dollar figure, not that much higher.

Popculturezone has one I think for $490 shipped

You should never wait around for Diecast IM figures...they typically go quick and when they do the price inflates even quicker!

So is it supposed to be all scratched up like this? I can't tell if it's intended battle damage or a QC issue. Can anyone who has this guy provide some feedback?

Mine doesn't have that much scratches maybe different batches but they look like the paint not QC.

The flash really makes the scratches standout. I have them on mine but they are not that obvious just looking at it but if i took a close up flash photo it would look the same.

You're absolutely right, had to really squint to see them. The scratches are in the same spots, but harder to pick up without light up eyes lol

That’s exactly how it should look. All the recent IM figures have had nice weathering but I’ve been really impressed with the amount on these Mk Vs.

Thanks for the feedback! I agree that it stands out more with the flash but I was trying to highlight the marks for my question. Whew! He looks great in hand so I wanted to be sure it was intended.

Well, with the MCU train steamrolling everyone, and Hot Toys making less units of everything overall,
The prices don't really surprise me. I took all of my profits from my XM statues that I sold and preordered
Around 14 figures plus the life size gauntlet from Sideshow.

Not missing any of these Marvel releases, since I want mostly everything coming out... Figured that was the
Best plan after seeing the aftermarket take off like it has. Figures like Gladiator Thor and Yondu are already starting
To slowly increase, and even the amount of waitlists being filled is less and less.

The kicker is definitely these Iron Man releases, since Civil War, they have all been beautiful figures,
Quick sell throughs and their prices just keep rising. Plus, most of these diecast releases will be the last
Time you see these armors made by Hot Toys. For instance, I don't see a Mark V - V3 ever happening.

Just wait until diecast Mark VII... It will go to waitlist on day one at this rate, lol.
