Thank you guys... seriously. Had the first 2 responses called me an *****, lol...I wouldn't have cancelled my order but probably would have felt a bit stupid ordering two. it's refreshing to read a few others are having the same dilemma I am with picking how to display. There are just too many looks I like on this one to pick only one. The DS showdown was obvious for me based on my figures and display I have, but I'm really digging the whole jabbas palace look just as much.

Too many different looks is a great thing for a HT articulated figure IMO especially Jedi Luke. I probably would’ve been against anybody buying two or more ANH Luke no matter how they want to display him, not any was that my least favorite look of Luke ( despite probably the only time Hamill looked the best in his career because of his old nose ) but he barely used the lightsaber :lecture but that HT hs of ANH was just and to this day IMO the worst hs for a HT Luke thus far.

I ordered 2 as well. Who cares, you only live once. I want both looks for Luke in my display, one with rotj boba and one with palpatine.
I had a moment where my wife was being insane, and I thought, I deserve 2 Luke’s. I put up with a lot of bs. If she needs jewelry and hair and clothes...

That said, I will have to smuggle them into the house.
Cue the mission impossible music.

I know people have been disliking his expression, but I have to be honest I watched ROTJ recently and I have to say Jedi Luke or Hamill for that matter, looked goofy in his expressions like this figure. I think all in all Luke’s hair was to blame, in some scenes it was so messy, in others it just looked ridiculous . And for the most part say Luke talking to Leia at the village his eyes did bulge out a lot and he had this blank stare on his face just like this hs . It’s funny I didn’t notice this until you saw this in HD quality. :lol

What’s my point, I think HT knew exactly this time around, what expression they wanted to use for Jedi Luke as strange as this seems and this case, IMO when you put everything together, this HS, comparing it to his film expressions , I think it looks great.

Maybe I’m reaching, but don’t tell me nobody sees the similarities

Do what makes you happy my friend :wink1: it’s funny this is typical and yet you also see hundreds of collectors on YouTube going with their gfs and wives to stores collecting figures where the girl is just as much into the hobby as much as he and his kids are.

And for those who label these geeks or weird looking girls. I kid you not some of these women are hotties and it’s a thrill to see them just as excited for the guy finding the figures he and she wants. :lol

True. I know a woman who is a model. Drop dead gorgeous. She is also one of the most genuinely geeky people I know. She married a fat geeky guy too. :lol

I get a kick out of seeing the hot sexy younger gfs on YouTube blogger toy hunts with these lscruffy looking losers with bad hair, clothes, just odd going Gaga over finding figures for their men. Now if they are just faking it, they got me fooled .These guys are truly lucky :lol

Some newlyweds gave each other collectible figures as wedding gifts. Some would go toy or LCS hunting while on their honeymoon or celebrating a wive’s or gf anniversary :lol

My wife puts up with the toys. It could be worse. She doesn’t mind that our basement is my museum. She would flip if she knew about 2 identical Luke’s.
I need to figure out how to post pics of my collection.
Now I have to go look up the hot gfs on toy hunt videos.

Not just GFs, wives too, but I must warn you, some of these men, not the best to look at if they dare show themselves :lol

2 videos in and I’m ready to light myself on fire.
Where were these geeky women when I was single?

That said, can’t wait for Luke.

yea the age of the geek is the in thing today. where decades ago you just got looked down on for the most part :p.

guess it does not hurt that geeks tend to be on the higher end of the IQ spectrum, and IQ is a decent predictor of success.

those revenge of the nerds movies clued women into that and they thought hmm maybe geeks are not so bad :p.

Now to get back on subject before we upset the female collectors on these forums :lol but I wonder if the Bespin Luke hs will fit on this Jedi body because I would like to see how the PeRS system would look on this figure

I did it for my custom, but I wonder how it look on this Newly developed HT outfit :dunno

Two quick sidenotes (then for real back on track):

I def feel lucky with my girlfriend's stance, which is....if it makes you happy, then do it.

Second point, more importantly...you folks are all really great!!! The replies to my question not only makes me feel I'm not an *****, but it's a welcoming place here to deal with this collecting obsession.

Now...to wait for my Lukes!

Thing is every middle age guy has some sort of hobby. Many are on the stay young trip and spends thousands on mountain bikes, others buy a sports car. Whatever it is I also think as long as it makes you happy and gives you a decent hobby to fill the spare time you have it's a great thing.

I've also got a DeAgostini Millennium Falcon on the go at the same time. That thing is so cool.

Luke is a mouth breather.

Yup ...spit out my drink on this one....

Thanks for that...
