I think I'm gonna try that fat suit tutorial but 8nstead of using duct tape I'm gonna try to permanently affix the upper and lower portion to the body via some strategically placed glue. That is, I will do that if the fatsuit proportions bother me once in hand.

It’s really not that bad in hand, I think. I thought it’d be worse. Slightly puffy in the midsection, but not an eyesore.

I got mine today. I looked at him briefly and he looked pretty good. No time to pose him. Of course I got another QC issue.

IM 3 for 3 on that!!

As opposed to trying to pull it straight down, just kind of twist it back and forth downward.

Received my Jedi Luke yesterday. Comparison shot with the ORIGINAL SS Jedi Luke.. The difference is astounding. However, there's more than 10 years, and technology changes since.

Seems so weird. That SS Luke is what got me into collecting 1/6 scale to begin with. I loved old Monkey Arms even though I hated his facial expression. But yeah, times have definitely changed.

Anyone from the UK starting to see movement? Had an email the other day saying payment would be taken today. Can't wait to get him. Got Empire Darth on pre-order for later on in the year then my journey to the (Hot Toys) dark side will be complete.

It would have, but they'll do it to entice collectors to double dip. The headsculpt on the Endor version even has that expression from the sail barge.View attachment 415067

Yeah, I'd be in for that if ever it came. That look and pose with the windswept hair / lightsaber lit is iconic.

Nice pose!

I was contemplating doing this pose at one time. Still think it’d be pretty cool:

Very cool!

Though you’ll eventually take out the neck wrap. I initially left mine in, but realized it was making him look more like a priest. Guyver mentioned there is a protective lining inside of the collar itself.

Thanks! His battle with Vader, stripped down to just the black suit is my favorite Luke look. I thought him throwing the saber would go good with the old Luke.

I got my saber arm through. It was a reall pain and took a while. The sleeve is very tight.

I didn’t have much trouble with the sleeve, it was just finding a position to put pressure on the arm to pop it in without feeling like I was going to break his arm off. I just bunched the sleeve all the way up to the joint.

Walking into lobby saw our ups truck up street so my son and I ran up the block to truck and figured we’d save ups guy a stop.

His reply: “sir, you need to give me a minute. It’s Luke day and I have four stops before you.”

Wow!

Gotta say I’m really Liking this figure. I must admit in the pictures the old adage of a camera adds 10 pounds is true. I think he looks fine in person and I’m very happy to have him in my collection.
I’m just putting up a quick pic of mine, still some futzing to do,but wanted to show what it looks like after for washing of the cloak to get the excess dye out. I don’t notice any differences at all in the cloak just hopefully I won’t have any staining problems as a ton of excess dye came out .

And I know my choice for Luke is not exactly screen accurate but it’s what I like .

Same here. The hard part was finding where and how to push the arm into the socket.
