Same here. The hard part was finding where and how to push the arm into the socket.

Same here. I didn’t have too much trouble working the sleeve over the arm; what I found tricky was swapping out arms. The sleeve doesn’t roll up high enough to be able to actually see the joint and the hole, so you just have to feel for it and in addition, you’re not sure how hard you have to push to get it to snap in. So you’re not sure if it’s a case of not getting it seated correctly in the hole, or not pushing hard enough. It turned out to be the latter, as you gradually just have to keep pushing harder until it snaps in.

Thanks! His battle with Vader, stripped down to just the black suit is my favorite Luke look. I thought him throwing the saber would go good with the old Luke.

Makes sense. :lol

42980229252_194fca290b_b.jpgSeems so weird. That SS Luke is what got me into collecting 1/6 scale to begin with. I loved old Monkey Arms even though I hated his facial expression. But yeah, times have definitely changed.

I'm just glad I got into this hobby when HT got involved. Sure prices are higher, but at least you can see the difference. Like night and day !

Just received Luke and I'm leaving for vacation today. I quickly unboxed him and popped his head off. I'd hate to come back to find staining on his neck.

Gotta say I’m really Liking this figure. I must admit in the pictures the old adage of a camera adds 10 pounds is true. I think he looks fine in person and I’m very happy to have him in my collection.
I’m just putting up a quick pic of mine, still some futzing to do,but wanted to show what it looks like after for washing of the cloak to get the excess dye out. I don’t notice any differences at all in the cloak just hopefully I won’t have any staining problems as a ton of excess dye came out .

And I know my choice for Luke is not exactly screen accurate but it’s what I like .

NICE!!! :clap

When I was a kid I had to wait until Christmas to get my Kenner Jedi Luke figure. BBTS better not make me wait that long:tap

Those were dark days indeed. LOL Plus you don’t have to worry about trying to sell off a worthless figure to upgrade to the new improved version. You just buy the best version now.

Of course, every new version is an improvement and you find yourself constantly wanting to upgrade with each new release so we are still kinda in the same boat as we’ve always been. LOL

To be fair, the bar was A LOT lower during those days. Dare I even say it was even a "funner" time...
..indeed it was. *Looks up and away to reminisce* it was an innocent time. Some of us collectors back in the 2000's were still displaying our 12" Hasbro figures. Going from that to what Sideshow made....blew our freakin minds.

Received my Jedi Luke yesterday. Comparison shot with the ORIGINAL SS Jedi Luke.. The difference is astounding. However, there's more than 10 years, and technology changes since.

:lol Thanks for sharing that - the difference is like night and day! I still have (and like) my SSC Jedi Luke though - the first 1/6 scale figure I ever got so probably won't ever get rid of him.

1/6 scale figures have really come on though in the last 10 years as that pic shows, to think that, that figure set me back about £30 from Forbidden Planet when it came out and comparing that with what we pay now :panic: :lol...my purse really does miss those days!

that's Luke boarding the shuttle tydirium before departing to Endor.

He boards the ship and says "hello there" to all the rebels already there.

You're darn tootin! Its like the sketch of the unabomber next to his mugshot....well maybe not that drastic but pretty drastic man.

Guess I'm going to have Luke posed like this having a hard time with the saber hand. Lol

Great pose. But wow that Anakin over to the side looks like a pretty scary pleather deterioration situation.

Okay so just got him in as you can tell in last post. What the hell! You mean to tell me no added light saber single beam to put on the light up hand!?

Got mine today! Awesome figure but im also having issues with the sleeve not fitting over the light up forearm. No matter how i tried to move it, its too tight. Has anyone had success?

As opposed to trying to pull it straight down, just kind of twist it back and forth downward.

I got my saber arm through. It was a reall pain and took a while. The sleeve is very tight.

I didn’t have much trouble with the sleeve, it was just finding a position to put pressure on the arm to pop it in without feeling like I was going to break his arm off. I just bunched the sleeve all the way up to the joint.

I just had to give up. Mine was so close to busting the seam, I could see the white of the insides of the cuffs peaking through the seam before I said, stop, no more. There's also no twisting this, it won't budge once it gets stuck. The reg. arm gets a little stuck, but goes through more easily.
I'm going to call Sideshow tomorrow and see what they have to say about it.

First pose and I'm sticking with it. I like it. Barely fits in the detolf posed like this! Lol
