Luke may have threw it in the ocean...look what he did with his father’s saber.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he really do nothing with his fathers saber? I mean, he cut off Vader's robotic hand that was holding the saber..and it plummeted down. I'm sure if that didn't happen, he would have kept it as a memento instead of burning it with the body.

Also removed the padded suit in some areas And added some height to the neck.
I think looked too fat in the crouch and short necked.
Now looks good enough to me

So I have the Sideshow version on preorder on their site, is it easy to have it switched to this one if I call Sideshow? Everybody's pictures on here have me wanting to switch. This figure looks great.

i took a Stainless Steel rod of same diameter than the hole and gut grinder with the dremel for the correct lenght.
I painted the hole with a marker to avoif having to drill it that would be difficult in this scale.

Honestly, if you can afford it..keep the preorder and get this one.. I have this and I still am looking forward to the SSC version. But bare in mind, once again the HT TT body will always outshine the SSC body in both proportion and articulation. IMO, that is what helps make this Luke stand out so well even with the fat suit whether someone wants to mod it or not.

This figure is a solid piece to display and pose

I may have to try to pick up a TLJ Luke head and plop it on this guy, if they’re compatible. I think the older version of Luke would look really cool in his dark Jedi outfit.

Can't really afford both to be honest. I'm doing schooling to become a professional dog trainer so I only have a part time job. I still wanna get the Mythos Obi-Wan and the Deluxe Palpatine when they come out. Got them both preordered too, alongside the Sideshow Luke. I can only afford one Luke unfortunately...I don't know what to do. I just know this figure keeps pulling at me.

Did a more extensive photo shoot with Luke this morning. Had ROTJ playing too and realized Luke was standing on the sand covered trap door when he had the blaster so I corrected that.

I posted some pictures on how I did mine. On Tuesday What you do is you pop the tab on the existing head insert to pieces add a little glue Wala collar is not touching jaw line.

I had one of each on pre-order. As much as I tried and tried to convince myself the SS Deluxe looked like Luke, I just never once looked at the head sculpt and saw Luke. Looked really generic and I couldn't get past that.

So I sent an email, and they said as a one time courtesy I could cancel that and they would apply my down payment to another figure, which I ordered a second HT Luke. Don't regret it for a second.

It does seem like a bit of a waste to pose this longer term with the Jabba Palace robe on and hood up, even though it looks cool. There's so much goodness on show that you can't see.

I like Coco's robe-on-but-hood-down pic with blaster pointed as the set-up that really shows everything really nicely (though I guess you have to consider the possibility of neck staining if left like that.)
