Sebastian Stan may look like Luke before his accident, but he doesn't look like Luke in ESB or ROTJ.

Not ESB you say? :lol

I think you screwed up, all I see is two identical pics of Mark Hamill here...

luke looks better in the video then it does in the photo shown when this went up for preorder. if they keep the sculpt like it was shown in this video I think it will be a hit instead of another miss.

My guess is that HT deemed the Endor gear not worthwhile without a speedbike and will reserve it for a future speederbike release.

The Endor gear might just consist of a poncho and helmet, but it still feels like a very different look to me than the "badass Jedi" look of the rest of the movie. So I can understand why HT might not have wanted to include it.

And as much as I love that look, I doubt I'd want to display it that way over the others anyway.

If they included the poncho and helmet with the Jyn deluxe, why couldn't they do the same with the much more iconic Endor gear:cuckoo:

No, I saw that -- its a great comparison even though its been fiddled with, but Mark wishes he looked like Stan. I doubt that one instance can be recreated with other ESB/ROTJ Luke pictures.

But give it a go if you really think Stan looks like Hamill.

No, I would actually agree. I'm surprised even that one picture is almost identical, as when you look at the two, I personally think they look nothing alike, from any film.

For instance, if you tried Photoshopping Hamill's face on TWS, I'd be willing to bet that it'd just look way off.

There's that... PLUS if you look at that compare, Stan has the exact same eyebrows as Hamill... and its says 'morphy_me' so I suspect that's not really Stan alone but a Hamill/Stan morph-bash.

If you put them legitimately side by side, I think the differences would pile up quickly.

Also goes to show you how much Budget Stark pays attention.

Most likely.

As I added in my previous post as well, I bet if you tried reversing the roles and Photoshopping Hamill's face on Winter Soldier, it'd look ridiculous.

Not sure if anyone noticed but in the product accessory shots Luke's lightsaber arm is inaccurately gripping the saber at its base, which would make him lefthanded. It should be gripped closer to the hilt of the weapon, where his left would be below it. Rewatched some footage last night and the only time he holds it in the left-handed position is when he reclaims (force-grabs) his saber from the the Emperor.

Luke Skywalker is what one would call, ambidextrous:lecture

Give Sebastian Stan that hair cut and a little bit of make up and I bet he'd look way more like young/pre-accident Hamill. A haircut can dramatically change the way someone looks. If they ever decided to do a Luke movie after ROTJ (because let's face it, Disney want to make some fat stacks) then he'd probably be a good choice for that.
