It's strange how this lost quite a significant amount of the likeness from the proto! I can't quite pin point what it is. Do you think it's just the paint application or did they tweak the sculpt?

Looks pretty much the same to me. I think this is one of those rare sculpts that didn't lose too much from proto to production.

They really took a lot of precautions with the back of the hair and the lower neck, both are protected

Cloak comparison:

I do realize that these are apples and oranges, and the prequel cloaks were not the same, but there’s just something about the general quality, I like the ANH Obi-Wan cloak much better in terms of the material chosen

The poseable fingers on the mechanical right arm are incredible, it is an amazingly made piece, I’m surprised they didn’t do this on the older Jedi Luke version. And don’t worry, I’m not that immature or childish to post what I know everyone thinks someone’s gonna post ...

Love all aspects of this figure but I hate the length of the cloak. Every picture I have seen it just looks silly. I'll pose mine either without the cloak or that disguises the length a bit. Too bad as I wanted the temple march look.

Different parts of his costume have wires running through them, including the ends of the sleeves, it’s actually really cool. I agree on the cloak completely

I put this picture up very specifically to illustrate a point, this figure is 95% perfect, the face paint job, the sculpt itself, the outfit, everything is absolutely perfect, except for the cloak. I have personally spent years customizing different Indiana Jones figures, because they never get it right. The point being is they primarily got it right. Really hope they do an Episode III Ewan McGregor to put along side with him.

It really is painful to see such an almost perfect figure. Wtf were they thinking with that length? Are there any images at all where his cloak is shown to be above the ankles??

Hot Toys need do an asajj ventress, never liked ss figure but the pf was rad...
I dig this Anakin figure a lot, been waiting ages for this it seems.

I'd love a Hot Toys Asajj with the old SS PF Clone Wars cartoon head on it. That would be amazing!

There is a separate saber arm which lights up, but they also have a separate saber holding hand used in the photo above, which is holding a separate light saber, they really did this right.

I know that doesn’t exactly answer your question, I’m out for a couple of hours trying to convince my girlfriend not to dump me for spending another $300 on a toy ...
Will check after I get back from being dumped.
