The hair is definitely bigger than it appears in the movie

Maybe that's what it is, but I also think the head itself is too large, or maybe it's his outfit making his head look bigger than it should. Something off for sure though. I still wanna get him though eventually. Do you have him?

Nice, I hope he arrives early for ya. I got the A New Hope Vader from Hot Toys arriving tomorrow.

Be sure to post pics of your Anakin when he arrives, also let us know how he looks in person, since pictures usually don't do these figures any justice. If I hear enough people say Anakin looks amazing in person I'm definitely getting him. If I get him I'm thinking of having a custom outfit made for him, most likely his armour from the Clone Wars show. That would be awesome.

definitely, I bought him mostly as a companion to Obiwan, so im sure he'll satisfy me to that end, it is growing on me though.

Clone wars armor would be pretty sweet

Is it just me or is his head too big? It looks too large from certain angles in pictures I've seen.

It does look a bit big but it’s hard to tell if it’s the hair or the headsculpt itself.

These angles are not great but you get the gist. I tried to line up the belts and the shoulders to see if that would show the difference.

Took the early processing offer but the last couple times I’ve done that it’s been like a month before I actually got my figures. Hope this one actually is arriving early.

Very excited to get the processing notice! More than anything, even if Hayden was pretty bad sometimes, I love Anakin's costume. And his performance in RotS was pretty good for about half the movie. Ultimately, it's Vader right before he turns.

In my opinion, he did the best he could with that script. It's a shame his career went down the drain, really shows how cut-throat showbusiness is.

Yup, it’s the thing that stopped me from getting it....

Hair is tough, but it really throws it off for me...

Same with Obi. His hair look great , but the beard !!!! Looks aweful

His hair needs some tweaking but it isn't a deal breaker. I try not to let small things like that bother me, figures are never gonna be perfect.

Wasn’t his fault. Seeing him in other movies, you realize he can act. But the real tell was all the power house actors who also sucked in the PT ie Natalie Portman, Samuel Jackson, Christopher Lee.

There was only one common denominator, GL.

And just when you thought a weak plot and bad acting direction was as bad as it gets...TLJ happened

Yep, even the most experienced film veterans turned in bland performances in the PT. Things like that are on the director. Though that may have been the style George was aiming for. On the opposite end of the scale, where a performance goes over the top laughable, IIRC Ian McDiarmid had talked about Lucas’ direction for him in ROTS during last Star Wars Celebration. He said Lucas kept asking him for more and more until McDiarmid just went wacky with his performance. That’s what Lucas wanted out of him so he kept the takes that McDiarmid thought were silly and unusable.

I agree with everything you guys are saying about the acting and directing, except for Portman and Jackson, it feels like all the other main actors (Hayden, Ewen, Ian & Frank Oz) were actually trying. I really enjoy RotS regardless of the bland acting, it's my second favorite Star Wars behind Empire Strikes Back.

And even though we determined the sculpt's hair isn't perfect, I don't really care, I've wanted an awesome Anakin figure in 1/6 scale for over ten years, so I'll eventually be getting him. I hope others won't let something that in reality is just a nitpick stop them from getting this great looking figure, that's not why I brought up the issue, I just wasn't sure if my eyes were deceiving me.

It's just like when I see the upcoming Emperor Palpatine Hot Toys figure I think his skin isn't pale enough, but that's just a nitpick too.

Any chance BBTS will have any for stock after they start shipping? Does that ever happen if the pre-order sells out?

I really want to wait on the inevitable "sith" version but it's getting difficult with all the pics in the thread.

Sorry for being deviant but what are the pros from ordering from BBTS? I see that there's a big onus on getting it from them considering the new and popular releases are always sold out. Is price the big factor?
