Not much of a policy is it if the only reason you weren't collecting PT figures was due to the simple fact that they hadn't been made yet, lol.

"NO prequel figures! Until they make my favorites..."

I wasn't collecting PT figures because no longer buying SS figures. So. Was able to save some money [emoji846]

PT was doomed from the start since it was NOT OT......nothing could have lived up to the fantasy we all had in our heads going into that theater opening night.....hell I waited 12 hours on a sidewalk to get tickets......(lots of fun though!)

TFA had it a little easier since by that point most folk were just hoping for something better that PT.

I think ROTS could have been really good had they had someone competent write dialogue, and made it more emotional....its very flat , as the entire PT is because George is flat....seriously that guy has no emotions.

I'll be buying this. I'm a fan of he character and his look. My focus for collecting are mainly the villains and he will go nice with Vader and Kylo Ren on the shelf.

I concur. Imo the PT's biggest flaw was the dialogue especially the romance stuff between Anakin and Padme. I also hate in EP3 how they refer to the children as younglings. It sounds ridiculous coming from Obi Wan and Padme not to mention if they had used the word children when explaining Anakin slaughtering the Padawans, it would have made his actions sound much darker (at least to me anyways). That being said I have always and still enjoy the PT bad dialogue and Jar Jar aside.

It was always weird that young Tusken Raiders were called children but young humans were called younglings.

Don't think it absolves the issues but the OT seemed like something Lucas made to please himself and the PT was made to please his kids.

This looks really good. The only thing that will keep me from buying this is that I sold off all of my 1/6 Prequel stuff to focus on OT once Hot Toys fully jumped into the 1/6 SW pool. I had to prioritize and still don't regret my decision. I'm happy for those that have been waiting for this though since this has been on many people's want list for a long time.

It looks decent in that picture but crappy in others. Doesn't look like the actor very much.

They made 18 of these?


It's as if 18 voices suddenly cried out in terror and we're suddenly silenced when Anakin Hot Toys was shown.
Not worth much now.

I `m in the same boat. but if I bought one PT figure it would be this Anakin. but I don't think I will go down that road. I`m only doing the OT stuff as that`s what I made the room for when I sold off my PT collection for that purpose.

That's kind of burying your head in the sand a bit. Obviously there isn't a universal consensus on any media, but I'm hard pressed to think of any other movies that have been met with as much push back as the PT. For 18 years on the Internet and in main stream media they have been the butt of jokes more times than could ever be counted. Thousands of articles, videos, forum posts etc. dedicated to explaining peoples disappointment. If you google most disappointing movies ever you'll always fine the PT near the top. The Red Letter Media reviews have 10s of millions of views. All of this can't have gone unnoticed by you, and just maybe you can see how calling them good movies is a bit of a hard sell.

Oh, trust me, I am well aware of how fashionable it became to pile on the prequels. Well guess what? Man buns, moon boots, and mullets were/are also considered fashionable - it doesn't mean those sentiments last. I have been very pleased how well the prequels have aged.
