Sideshow was way ahead of its time in pricing X-wing Luke. So our future is Snowspeeder Luke pricing next year. $265.

There's really not much more they could have included beyond the pilot head gear, an alternate sculpt with Sith eyes, and the droid he steps on. 2 of those things can be used for a separate release.

I would have rather had it all included in one package, but as it is, this comes with pretty much everything he used in the film.

I wish he came with some sort of diorama base of the sinking platform he was standing on in the lava. Hopefully Obi-wan will have it. Want to display them together. They really deserve a nice diorama

Since he comes with Dooku's saber, I think the printed stand of Dooku's pathways on his ship actually makes sense. Whether it is wood inducing or not, is another thing. Would have been nice if they lit up appropriately, but then again, just extra cash at that point and would need a spot light? It is weird that they chose to print the left side of the stairs rather than the middle, any bets as to who, if anyone will come with the other half of the path?

Since when does the number of pages of this one Freak Forum thread have ANY bearing on overall Hot Toys sales? Plenty of ink was spilled on this forum when it comes to the Hot Toys line of Force Awakens figures, yet most if not all are still widely available.

Talk is cheap.

And FYI... your beloved Tarkin is STILL available at BBTS. And Alter Ego still has 38 units that remain unsold.

Perhaps HT was wrong about the interest in secondary OT figures.

I really hope Dooku is next. I'd love a Hot Toys Obi Wan but we've already seen that in figure form with Sideshow and we need more villains/Sith.

Fingers crossed to breaking that Anakin makes it through production looking as good as this proto. .it really is stunning.

I dunno. Jedi Luke was $230 and Hoth Leia was $219 and they're both from this year. Maybe they're testing the market for the Prequel Trilogy and not making a bunch of this figure so are charging more for that reason.

You're right, Tarkin didn't sell well, so maybe that's why no DS Trooper. HT realizes they can only profit from multiple Lukes and Hans, etc. The big names.

Now with PT, here's the biggest name in the bunch... and I merely pointed out that the page count seemed low for such a "talked about" character. I'd expect 30 pages the first day like many Marvel characters. But here we are still at 14. Basic logic would suggest that perhaps there's isn't as many people interested here as the loud barkers would have you believe.

HT Hoth Leia sold out quickly at BBTS... so I would figure Anakin -- THE star of the PT -- would as well in time. We'll see. That's all I was alluding to.

Not sure how to respond to 'talk is cheap'... but, yes, it is.
