I mean I think it's as simple as they didn't get a licensor approval and they needed to tweak it.
What the hell is going on here?Looks like they decided to backtrack and remove any mention of the seamless body for this one.
Sideshow took down all photos that included the seamless body and it’s gone from HT’s website as well.

This whole figure was solicited and sold over the battle damaged seamless body as it appeared at the end of the movie. If they can't get license approval for that, then this figure needs to be scrapped like the What If Ironman and that Flash figure.
Nobody wants to pay $350 after shipping and taxes for a TVA Wolverine.
That's what I'm thinking too. I was thinking though that they got the fully seamless torso look with Hellboy.Super odd. I wonder what’s going on with this. I didn’t pre-order and got the regular version but was going back and forth on getting this one too.
I wonder if they’re not confident in being able to produce a seamless upper torso that won’t have issues? Still though that’s a huge change when this was sold on the look without the jacket/upper part of his outfit.
It looks like they updated the summary photo. That’s wild if they did decide to do away with the seamless body. I can’t remember another time where they advertised something that big as a selling point and then decide to remove it. I guess they’re covered by “Item shown is a prototype. When shipped, the final production piece may differ in appearance.” This would be a pretty big difference though.

And if that ends up being wrong, that statement could be used against them. Hopefully it’s correct but it seems like a really weird thing to do all of a sudden if there wasn’t more to the story. This is a bizarre situation. But according to comments on a post in the FB Let Your Geek Sideshow group it is only a change in the photos, not the actual figure. But Sideshow’s info can be a load of crap a lot of times as well.
But then why take all the photos down that show the upper body? Something is weird with it.The description still says:
Shoulders not mentioned, but the description pasted on page 1 of this thread doesn’t either.
- Upper body and arms made from silicone material with inner metal skeleton
- Seamless neck and elbow joints design
