There's a few people that didn't learn from v1 MIII. The paint is pearlescent. It changes light depending on the type of lighting. Under regular night room lighting it becomes a richer red. In daylight it becomes maroon more cinematic to the film.
OMFG!!! is this the final product??? Nooo ~~~
The prototype has a very nice weathering effect on the suit with semi-gloss to flat finishing and great battle damage touch up. But the final product seems missing all of those .... gloss finish with child like BD effect? Even I can do better than this. God I thought MJ was bad. This .... can not .... be true ....
Being the 2nd most expensive HT figure, Kojun sculpt which is one of the major selling point is gone and now this? This is a bit hard to swallow. Is funny how HT said in their newsletter how hard they work on this project bla bla bla and we should respect them bla bla bla, but as a customer, I really dont care how hard they work, I see a product I like, I buy, simple. As for respect .... earn it.
Sorry, I am piss, but will give this Hasbro like IM a last chance (may be bad lighting make it look bad) when I see it on TH display later this week, then I'll decide to keep it or not
I am quite sad to hear HK fan is considered as mentally disorder.....
Everytme there is issue, HK fans are the one was critized here
Different countries have their own culture and even different forum have their own style, hope people respect each other
Hey, sorry I dont mean to say that HK fans have a mental disorder or something. I merely wanted to point out that they seem more vocal as compared to overseas fans.
If you have taken any offense, I apologize for the wrong choice of words.
Interesting things to note: Fans here like the final displayed version but the HK fans love the original displayed version (above) more.
(a) The scars on the mask and (b) the damage marks on the chest of the final displayed version are much much more prominent, it shows to the fans that "You see, I am really damaged!"
I think this final one is fantastic, but i prefer the original version more. The scars on the mask actually are paintings, not actual scars, if there are too much scars painted on the mask, then it would be a little too fake.....
Concerning the chest, the damage marks of the initial version seems a little more realistic.
My buddy who is a painter at Sideshow said he acutally saw the Battle Damaged Iron Man in person. He says the paint is AWESOME! More of a metallic candy apple red finish to it....
I think the prootype are way better. So shiny!!

Don't worry, it's nothing you haven't seen before.
