I really like this photo:

from tc4949 of toy world. I think he repainted his BD helmet though.

Beautiful photos, OMG. Yours are the best ones I've seen yet that clearly shows the difference in color between the original MKIII and the BD.

Could you take some of the non-damaged chest plate and helmet to compare with the older MKIII? Thanks.

So what do you think OMG? for those ppl who have niether one. Im in d same boat as some ppl that i gave up my V1 for the BD, so should i get my V1 back or stay with the BD?

If you can live with those silly looking silver BD paint, I did say go for BD version. But old MK3 got better looking helm and torso :D

Working on it :banghead

This figure looks great. It does look a little bit skinny but the shinyness of the paint is nice. But then I'm a ' HT Fanboy' so I would say that.

:banghead Thanks man, might go hunting for him again, trying to get another one for my fiance  is it true that the "damage" is just painted on like the "scars" on FB John Connor?

Damn I wish I hadn't gotten screwed on the Mark III I bought from a guy on here. I plan on displaying this one with the non-BD head and torso, but still.

That's why I asked OMG to take photos of the non-BD helmet and the less damaged torso. I have a feeling it will improve the look of the figure ten fold. Like OMG has said, I think the BD helmet looks a bit silly. :monkey5 Hot Toys could have done better with the damage effects on that.

Yeah, it does. I mean I appreciate having to keep costs down during mass production, but with the scratches being just decals or what have you instead of actual painted gouges, it just looks a little goofy. At least in terms of the helmet. The scratches and dings on the suit look fine to me, because it's just the paint being scratched off.

Yea they did the same thing with the FB John connor, just weak paint and no real scratches.

I don't know if this has been posted,it's from the Hot Toys Facebook page.

Just had a question for some of you long time 1:6 collectors and Hot Toys fans.

I'm just getting started with my new collection and I really want to get one or two Iron Man figures. With Toy Fair 2010 arriving I was hopeful that we were going to get some pics of the upcoming IM2 stuff but so far really nothing but this pic above and that one of War Machine that was on the internet a few weeks back.

So, my question, unless I answer it myself, does Hot Toys ever really show a bunch of stuff typically at Toy Fair? Are we not seeing anything for IM2 because the BD IM is showing up on shelves and they don't want to take away from the sales there? I'm just surprised that the only thing I can find pics of for upcoming Hot Toys stuff is the Sarah Connor.

I'm just going to be patient and not buy anything right now until we see what's coming but I'm losing my patience (haha) with not even seeing any pics really yet. I almost picked up the original HT Joker and then right when I was getting ready to do so the pics of the DX Joker surfaced.

Just wondering, any previous years insight or new on IM2 HT stuff would be great, thanks guys/gals!

Nothing yet. This new pic suggests a lineup. News soon hopefully since other companies have been showcasing the Mark IV and Mark VI at Toyfair.

Hot Toys usually show stuff at Sideshow's booth but they were absent this year.
