i just want a smiling head sculpt. ALL of the TDK joker figures have this somber, non-expression look. this is the JOKER, he should be SMILING!! i was really looking forward to the erick sosa head for this reason, but he kinda fell off the face of the earth

I've got DX01 and BRJ, have no need for another and certainly won't sell off my current one to "upgrade"
Though i foresse landfills of peoples once treasured Joker figures in future as newer versions flood the market
I've got the awesome BRJ - & I have 89 Jack Joker on the way, so my wishlist is more than covered.
Still curious about this new one though.. if only to see the pics.

Definitely false. Setting aside the terrible v1 sculpt, the BR Joker comes with two heads - a SMILING version and a glaring version (not smiling, but certainly not un-expressive).
The DX PERS sculpt has what I believe to be a slight smirk, though it's the most neutral of expressions. The DX police sculpt definitely has a very menacing, angry expression.
Perhaps what you want is simply a laughing version?

I guess if you tilt the head downward, but then, many sculpts would probably look menacing that way that wouldn't otherwise.

Ive always found that sculpt to be a bit strange looking.
Yeah, I don't know what kind of expression that is, really. He just looks like he was caught off guard.

yeh i keep the hat hanging over his face so u can hardly see it cus its just creepy :L

Exactly. It's weird how he has no upper lip either.
The lack of upper lip is accurate
I think the expression is just mimicking what Heath's expression was in the scene, but it doesn't do a perfect job of it.

It's because he's grimacing. The tension in his facial muscles flatten the upper lip against his teeth - it's part of the expression.
i dont really consider the BR head to be smiling. its more a smirk, plus it doesnt have hair (or at least it just has slicked back hair so the mask can fit). id like a SMILING version of him - something like this
