Anyway, I think 2 sculpts is a must. There are a plethora of accessories he could come with but it makes me wonder if he'll come with most of the ones mentioned. The pencil would be cool but I dunno...

You know in real life his name was Jimmy Burke, I believe Conway was his mothers maiden name.. I think. I guess they thought Conway sounded cooler and in a way it does. I read the book years ago and if you hadn't you should, it's phenomenal.

As for the Joker, think we'll get real shoes this time, real laces etc. That would look cool although I never really had a problem with the old ones. What do guys think the chances of this being a SDCC Exclusive. I mean nowadays it seems it doesn't really matter, does it? If it sells they'll still make a butt load of them, exclusive or not. I dunno....
I'd actually rather not have real laces on 1/6 shoes. They're a pain in the arse more than anything where I have encountered them.

judging by the small changes that mark i 2.0 had, i would say this is mostly a re issue
rather than a significantly different figure. perhaps is do to the high aftermarket prices and howard chan repudiation of scalper Sellers. I believe it's a good move because there are many fans whom can't afford the current prices set by scalpers for mark i and joker dx. so a 2.0 version of each is more than welcome. just look how much was the mark i going for before the re issue was announced and how high is still today.
was about to pay 500 to 600$ to get this figure from eBAY.
but ill just wait hopefully they will re issue this figure.

the joker 2.0 is next to Christian Bale from the picture ... so i think its the Heath Ledger joker
It is the Ledger Joker: just look at the TDK logo and TDK-themed graphics on the announcement.
it will be a reissue just with a better head sculpt

Someone said earlier that the tailoring on this "new" Joker was some of the best they've seen. So it can't be a simple re-issue.

To be fair, I don't know that there's been any indication that the headsculpt will be different.
At this point, all that's been suggested from Hot Toys sources was that the tailoring might be different...
