I just received one yesterday, but the paint doesn't look as good as on the photos here. Here's a picture of mine. Rather splotchy paint on mine. Got this directly from the guy (not from ebay). Is this how yours look as well or is it just mine? Got a message from the seller saying that they are all exactly the same.

I ordered from him as well. His response to my pictures was as follows:

"All pepper helmet painting are same, I handle the inspection myself for few hundred piece, it's all about picture, I can take picture like yours as well but I can also take picture like other people. I am sorry we cannot send replacement for this reason, if you are not happy with it you may return it for refund

Sure. Here's a picture of the back of the head. These are just taken with my cellphone camera here at my desk. The splotching is pretty noticeable. If that's how they all are, then no big deal. I just don't want to be stuck with a bad one if there are better ones out there.

Return this one.... get the refund.... then a few days later try buying another one and hope you dont get the same one.... if you do either keep it if not send it back and dont try again

Why wait a few days - Will the paint magically cure to perfection on the ones that weren't painted well?

Easiest thing to do is pick up a $4 jar of paint and he can paint it himself to w/e shade makes him happy.

Not that hard.
