Not sure I'd want that expression for my first Pepper 1/6 but I have no complaints about the physique or attire ;)

How about this attire with a seamless body. :naughty :D

I think a lot of it has to do with how people go about their complaining. Its one thing to be disappointed that a license you want to see figures of is not revealing any, or at a snails pace, and expressing that. Its entirely another to bombard every Iron Man thread with hate and no reasonable rational. The simple truth is Iron Man sells really well for Hot Toys, and Iron Man 3 is relatively new and grossed a billion dollars. Anyone who is wondering why they are making IM3 armours instead of 25 plus year old properties, or figures from licenses they have historically done little for need to reread my previous sentence until they do, because Hot Toys is going to make figures that are going to make them money first and foremost. At this moment in time, Iron Man falls into this category. And it isn't like they do nothing but Iron Man, they are doing other figures, just not as many as some people would like.

It's quite all right for them to milk the Iron Man line, but the point for concern is the ones they have announced years ago and give little to no update regarding the actual release date even though they gave out an estimate (which they missed) which has passed over one year. I consider myself lucky since I only collect DC figures and they never seem to get delayed for more than 6 months, but what about those who have POed ASM, XM:FC, etc.? That's what got me concerned.

Also, if you consider the production pipeline for these sort of collectibles, without even knowing the details, I think it is quite safe to assume that they can only do a number of moulds and with HT prioritizing on IM it's to be expected that the other franchises get delayed. To me, that's unfair to the other guys and gals.

But let's not discuss this any further yeah? No one else seems to care anyhow.

3. Do you have any plans on releasing Maria Hill figure from the Avengers movie, and the most requested Pepper Potts? by the way, we saw a teaser about Bruce Banner with his clothes on, when will it be released for pre-order?

No plans on making Maria Hill figure, But we are already in the process of making Pepper Potts, head sculpt is ready by now. Bruce Banner needs approval, hopefully soon.

*Taken from an interview from MARK OSR and Howard Chan*

Disappointed to hear there will be no Hill figure. However, the Banner news sounds great! Let's hope its released in 2014!

:exactly::goodpost:

..but I like your shark avatar anyway, Yongkykun. :1-1:

There's a new HT Collartible Expo starting today where they're showing off the figures and those mental artist versions. News is up on HT Japan and OSR.

Yeah, I'll never understand that logic. Because that's like saying "grow up" to a homeless person for whinging and complaining about not having a home and a decent living.

Many factors like:
- one might not have a steady income
- one has paid full price for the figure
- one might feel that the hype of the movie has died out and feel cheated
and so on that need to be put into consideration before saying that they need to grow up. If the table's turned I'm not sure some would be as content or as "grown up" as you expect. I complain mainly because I see this move by HT as unfair to those who have waited more than a year from the expected release date because I don't like injustice. If that means that I'm being childish to some, then so be it.

I can only hope that this is not a classic case of adolescence projecting their psyche onto others.

what? :cuckoo:
I never said that to a homeles person are you kidding? I'm saying it to adults that complain about not having a toy released WHEN THEY WANT

You are trying too hard and you took what I said to a completely different place, you like to take things out of context?, yeah saying that to a homeless person is the same as saying it to a collector it makes perfect sense.

Im waiting for a figure and a license since last year, do I complain about that? no, I wait. Life is not fair, its better to learn that fast. Don't rush to prove people wrong, you didn't even understand what I said

Thats is EXACLTY :exactly: what I'm talking about, thank you I don't know if you read what I said but that is exactly what I mean, plus I always say things jokingly :dunno there is no need to take it that seriously

They have time to make as many prototypes as they want, HT has more factories and personal than before, other figures will come I'm waiting for many myself

No Maria Hill from the Avengers...:gah::computer:banghead:(

Paltrow used to kind of get on my nerves, but have since warmed to her as an actress. So I'd definitely like a Pepper. She's been in all three movies.
I'd like this kind of look as opposed to your standard dark blue or black biz suit.

And yes I know it's a Hail Mary Long Shot but would love to see a Rescue version--even though it wasn't in the movie. If
HT does a great HS though this might be something I'd commission.

Ahem...
She was in 4 movies.
All 3 Iron Man
and
The Avengers.
She should have been made as a companion piece for Tony first IMO.

I hope its eaither the white suit version from im3 or how she looks in the end with her sports bra and his iron hand. it would be cool if they sculpted her one arm to look like its heating up, just to give her that total BadA$$ action feature!!!! but really im buying this no matter what she looks like.....well unless they put her head sculpt on one of the iron man bodys -___- but i doubt that.

You are trying too hard and you took what I said to a completely different place, you like to take things out of context?

Where did I say that you said that? I question your logic. Don't put words in my mouth mate. And it's not about complaining a toy not being released "when they want", you're missing the point. They set out a date and missed that deadline and never mention it again. Would you be happy to order pizza only to have it a day later?

I was talking about figures that are already up for preorder and haven't seen the light of day. Read my posts carefully. I do love how it's all about you. And I do have problem understanding you because of spelling mistakes. Auto-correct?

And I'm not trying to prove people wrong. I just don't get why people have to "grow up" when they are entitled to the figure they've already paid money for.

They have time to make as many prototypes as they want, HT has more factories and personal than before, other figures will come I'm waiting for many myself

The context is production (i.e. manufacturing the figures hence the word mould being thrown in there) and you brought the discussion all the way back to prototype? I think I see the problem:
You are talking about people wanting figures from so and so franchise whilst I was addressing the problem that some complain about, which is that HT neglect figures they have ALREADY set out to make and have given release estimate and people have paid money for PO which some stores require you to pay the full price.

Hope that clear things up.

Again, you think a pizza is has the same production process as a figure? you think in a weird way man, its not necessary to exaggerate it doesn't make sense if you take it out of context just to be right, you don't have to do that to prove your point :wave

Its not necessary to complain in other figures threads just because you don't get yours, I am waiting for figures I already paid and I don't do that, its not hard try it, its easy to be civil :wink1: if you think the issue is that serious send a email to Howard Chan :dunno

Since you like to take things in different contexts I thought you'd understand, but no.

HT delays every figure we all deal with it, in some cases like Bane the figure came out even before the release date :cuckoo: its quite messy.

You are not more important than anyone else here, we are all waiting for a license or figure thats not reason to come to another thread and make a mess, people have the right to be happy for the figure HT announces and trying to discuss with me why your complains are SO important won't solve anything, :peace

1. Wow pointless chat that was. Hard to have a reasonable discussion with someone who doesn't know what analogy is.

2. I've already stated that I don't buy Marvel figures, haven't I?

3. I was arguing FOR people who complain since you tell them to "grow up". So it never was just about me or you. I think your post has clearly shown that you only think things from your own perspective. I can't argue with someone like that.
