Wonder if there is some licencing problems.
Maybe rapace did not liked the sculpt.
She does have a special look...

I have zero hope to see an engineer unless there is a sequel, and that Will be in 2 or 3 years if we re lucky, so 5 years from now fr an HT figure...

If it's 'coming soon'.. they've already invested the resources to see it through.

I'd say it's on it's way, but obviously they're not ready to reveal the figures yet.

i know its shaw...but in that pic it looks like a mans body. Would be so cool if they made david as well just to shock us. maybe she'll be at that other convention in a little while...."i forgot the name of the other one"

That image does look like a Male suit (I don't see the orange piping that is on Shaw's, and the armor plating is not Shaw's).

Ether Hot Toys is making David instead, or its just a generic image from the film and has no relevance to who they are making from the line.

Or heck, maybe they'll surprise us with both Shaw and David?

Shaw's the main character, so they won't make David instead of her.

They'll likely do a couple.. & wait till the sequel for more to drag it out.

I understand that.

Some people were speculating the delay may have to do with Shaw's likeness, maybe she didn't approve of the first sculpt, etc. So what I am speculating is that maybe they will unveil another figure first? Or just continue to take their time with Shaw.

Either way, to me it's all speculation until HT actually shows us a physical prototype beyond the "work table" image they showed.

i was thinking the same when i first the photo. Im not sure if its a female body? Maybe someone who is at SDCC can ask or get a closer look?
