in the prequel to alien? outrageous! j/k. i am really looking forward to seeing this. i think i am more excited about this movie than any other movie this summer. i would be down for any hot toys figures i think but would really like them to revisit alien and aliens as well.

Thats why I was a bit sceptical about whether what Nekro posted was really a spoiler. Didn't seem like much of a shocker to me considering the film we're talking about.

Thats why I was a bit sceptical about whether what Nekro posted was really a spoiler. Didn't seem like much of a shocker to me considering the film we're talking about.

After a days release in the US every Prometheus thread will be full of spoilers this time tomorrow night.

Those who complained about spoilers, just stay out of the thread then. It's hard to talk about making collectables for a movie with creatures in if you can't mention the creatures. I vote they edit the title with a spoiler warning instead

..the only thing we've known about this proto Xenomorph is that it was mentioned in a few fake scripts.

It's not somthing I would want to be spoiled with.

The Engineers are nine feet tall. That's about a foot and a half taller than a Predator.

The Proto Xenomorph looked to be about half the engineer's size. Maybe smaller.

But Hot Toys doesn't care about accuracy, so don't expect them to be in scale with each other.

Am surprised theres some love for this film on this forum

I only liked the film because of the visuals and David other than that was it was a pile of poo.

Cant help thinking it would of been a lot better as a stand alone instead of trying to tie in alien some how.

It's no thinking man film it's just a mess. It left you thinking wtf because it made no sense not because it was tough or complex in any way.

Heres some scenes which have really pissed off a lot of people

Why would a biologist who we assume knows about animals go up to something which is hissing, rearing up to him and say it is not threatening. It's plain animal language for "I'm about to kick your butt" yet he, a biologist, thinks this is cute? Really?

After the mutant butchers everyone why does it never get mentioned again? It just gets forgotten two minutes later? EH?

Post removing the alien from the main character, everyone else seemed happy enough not to mention what had just happened. She fought with two of the crew who were trying to put her in the cryogenic freeze. A few minutes later they were going with her to the temple without mentioning a think about what had just happened. Hell she even ran in to Weyland on her wander round the ship post operation and didn't seem to shocked that he was there, and then didn't seem to think it was wise to mention what had just happened.

Why make a star map to lure people a planet were you are creating a facility to create weapons to destroy them?

When the spaceship is rolling toward them why run in a straight line when they will NEVER get away from it in time when they could have ran to one side for a second or two and avoided it completely, poor and lazy writing thats why

A massive plot hole I noticed... when the Geo and Bio are left in the temple they are talking and they see the pile of bodies etc... they go on the radio to the captain who is sitting watching everything they are doing and ask him if he can see it, he says no you are braking up I cannot see anything. He says all this with a shifty look on his face whilst watching everything they do... why? What are his motives and what is the purpose? It was never even mentioned again

Erm..yes. I was bold, I watched a cam. I feel like I haven't truly seen it though. Couldn't really make out much visual detail.
