I hope you're right. The torso and legs are part of the suit though too; it would look funny with just the helmet on.

Glad to hear Ridley likes Aliens and thus presumably accepts it in his canon of this universe. I dunno, for some reason thats important to me. Obviously we know Cameron loves Alien.

Can anyone confirm what I thought that the 'Building better Worlds' slogan mentioned in Prometheus is taken from Aliens as opposed to the first film? I don't remember ever hearing it or seeing it written/typed anywhere in the original - only in Aliens where with the terraforming colonies it had an application.

The difference with this line & green lantern is Hot toys has no excuse to not do the line, i mean they need to create light up helmets if that, not entire glowing suits right? And promethius has postive buzz thur far, Green Lantern was flopped by critics by now.

i really hope a Space David is on the horizon

David is a must. Even if I can't afford to branch into this line I'm still curious to see what he looks like. If they nail the Fassbender likeness that'd be great. He should come with one of the "vase" pods and the glass, as well as the jumpsuit and spacesuit.

Uh, Prometheus is getting mostly positive reviews. Green Lantern received mostly negative reviews.

They would be shooting themselves in the foot if they didn't touch the license.

They will do a sequel. I don't think I've ever almost seen a movie that had as much obvious hints at a sequel as this one.

I don't want to be labelled as a hater but I do have my problems with it. Absolutely loved the first half, but felt things become uncohesive in the 2nd half. All I will say for now.

That said, the designs, the FX to pull it all off, the scope, all amazing! I didn't feel that way about the "aliens" new designs.

Anyway, it's still settling on me. I would like to see it again.

At last someone with sence!! Don't get me wrong I liked the film but extremely disappointed at the same time this could of been epic only for shoddy writing.
Scot hit a home run with this move on the way it looks he did his job. The writing is just terrible and lazy typical of lost.

This movie had to many characters, almost zero character interaction, wooden acting (apart from David/vickers). In Alien you really felt it when someone died, here you could not care less. There just so much wrong with the story. Lots of thing will just annoy the crap out of you which could of been fix with better writing.

You think on the worlds most important space trip the crew would of trained together or at lest if had a meeting before getting onto the ship. Where they frozen before getting on?

Just came back from the movie not too long ago. Loved the movie. Since this is a HT thread, I hope to see Lizbeth (think that's her name of the main female character) and David as figures

This movie had to many characters, almost zero character interaction, wooden acting (apart from David/vickers). In Alien you really felt it when someone died, here you could not care less...

Yeah, Elizabeth Shaw is her name. I'd also be interested in a Shaw and David figure, out of the humans they're the only ones I'd want.

I watched an interview with her on how she played the character before going to the movie so I understood why the character acted how she did. I can't explain it, but I understood Lizbeth. I didn't really understand why Vickers had a stick up her ass though I think she was the only character I didn't feel connected with. Well her and the biologist. But Im no alien expert by far so I probably had different expectations with the film than some. I'm more of a predator guy
