I've long since accepted the fact they won't change it. Still this is potentially the prototype head sculpt. there's always the chance (however unlikely) that it may be changed, we won't know till we have the final figure in hand.

But alas I cannot wait for this. Hurry up HT!

Headsculpt still look the same really disappointed

Some really peculiar uplighting there. The sculpt and paint of the lips give it a really baby-ish face.

Still seems to be no sight attachment on the MP5...

The proto's face actually grew one me. I think the main difference between Jill in the pics Viper posted and the official HT pics are the eyebrows and the proto pics she has eyelashes under her eyes. I think someone with good paint skill could actually make this figure look nice. But I agree with bio, I can't wait for this figure. And there is allway the possibility for last minute changes too I suppose. Remember everyone was suprised HT corrected Weskers eyes when they got the figure in hand.

I really wanted a decent Jill Figure and when I heard Hot Toys where going to do one I was sure it would be a must have. Unfortunately, it turns out it isn't.

Let's be honest, if you took just the head and removed the cap you would have no idea that it was supposed to be Jill. That's not good enough in my book, even the clothes aren't up to the usual Hot Toys high standard. They've been a bit lazy with this one I think, especially when you look at how the AC2 Ezio turned out.

Really!?

The only similarity I can see are that they both have eyes, ears, a nose and a mouth.

But hey, if you think it's ok then you’re in a better position than me. You'll be enjoying your nice new Jill Valentine figure while I'm stuck cursing Hot Toys and whinging about what could have been.

haha I don't mean to initiate a quarrel or anything .

I can tell it's off, I just mean to say I see enough of her in there where I can get enough enjoyment out of it. It also doesn't help that I'm a rabid RE fan so it wouldn't really matter anyway

In the proto pics I see a bit of Jill but in the ones Viper posted not as much. I think alot has to do with the paint too. In the pic you poseted Dug Jill kinda has light freckles and slightly dark area around her eyes. But I do agree the overall sculpt is off a bit and this could have and should have been a much better figure. It kinda looks like her befoar Capcom started useing Juliah Voth's likeness. HT doesn't seem to give their females the attention they do their guy figures. Anyways at least it looks better than NECA's.

They can get it right though, just look at the Abigail Whistler figurine...

Unfortunately Abigail seems to be the exception atm. BW had potential too, allthough her main problems are the saggy ****s and kinda poorly taylored outfit and imho the rooted hair. Her face looks good though but over BW was kinda a let down me thinks. Also look at Sheva, her face looks pretty good in the protos but the final result was a bit dissapointing. No doubt HT CAN make a good female figure though.

This is also true, though Ezio seems to have pretty good detail. Better than any of the RE figures.

I think the HT Jill needs some cellulite injections in her lips. That'll fix the problem!

It could get pushed back which if it does becase they're making changes to the current sculpt to make it more accurate, then fine by me. I'll gladly wait a little longer for a more accurate Jill.

I still have a small gleaming hope that The real adjusted head sculpt is sitting deep within Hot toys' laboratories, mad hot toys scientists laughing maniacally over her, awaiting the final touches while the Proto sculpt is still being circulated at the toy shows only because said masterpiece isn't finished yet.
