When are they planning to put this up for PO, maybe there waiting for everyone to get there first release I guess as to not hurt sales.

The only three figures from SDCC that I have interest in still has not gone up for pre-order…..
Ripley Alien
Batman Returns
Unmasked Robocop:impatient:

Same. I like the power loader Ripley as well, waiting to see the price on that.

Yup, I'm in for Unmasked Robocop and Ripley, I have no issues with the returns figure but I'm sticking with the 89 bats only.

Just kinda getting batmaned out lately, there's so many out there. I sold my toy fair begins, canceled my sideshow batman too, I'm still in for the Arkham one though, that just looks killer and will fit in nicely with my video game shelf.

Either HT puts BD Robo up for PO soon to capitalize on the release of the clean Robo, or it waits several months so as not to harm sales of the clean version. I'm leaning towards the latter.

I know the clean, helmeted Robo is the more iconic, but after re watching the film yesterday, the look of this figure is how Robo looks during the battle at the end with Clarence and **** Jones. It's also the last scene of the film when asked what his name was and he replies "Murphy" with a little smile.

So I think overall I would prefer this RoboCop over the clean version.

Me too, I might get the Helmeted version too later, but right now I'm only interested in this one, and the others Diecast

I need both.

x2
i cant help but get every version of robo out
have the eb, chair version will be here soon, going to get this one, bought the small neca versions, didnt get the 1/4 neca version as i have the superior eb version
dont think im going to get the CC cain, just too damn expensive for a villian that I rank below ed209

I personally prefer RoboCain, I've wanted a high-quality representation of the character since 1990! Chronicle's piece is great, but it's really expensive and it's essentially a statue with a little bit of articulation.

Collecting RoboCop is a lot easier than the upcoming SW stuff. :lol

Yeah...it is one of the situation where I really want the character and don't want to let this nice 'statue' replica pass me by. Who knows if Hot Toys will make a Robocain!!!

If you want it and you've got the funds, go for it! I don't, so I'll wait. :lol I'm fairly confident we'll get a HT RoboCain, eventually.

Speaking of battle damage, HT should make an Alex Murphy figure with swappable parts for either a clean or BD look. Or they could do like they did with Luke and do 2 compete figures.

I remember chronicle saying the reason ht haven't attempted the robocain figure is that's its to intricate and detailed and theres too many parts. Having said that id love a ht robocain. Just think of the poses you could put it in. I have a feeling we may be hearing something about cain after the bd Robocop is released.

I think that's a bit of clever marketing/fearmongering on the part of Chronicle. If anything, HT may be too ambitious at times when it comes to complicated and intricate projects.

I'm sure it's been confirmed but I have to ask:

Is this diecast? Sure looks it.

No, it hasn't been confirmed. And if it's true that it's harder to replicate fine detail on diecast parts, maybe HT should just stick to plastic for this release.

The figure has been on display with a magnet tool, but that may be for the holster and/or the back panel, which means more sound effects!

I'm guessing it is diecast as a compliment figure to the new diecast Robo just released.

That's what I was thinking. But it's evidently harder to put detail into diecast (the regular release's plastic gun is more detailed than the diecast gun) and there's so little diecast in the other figure anyway, it probably doesn't matter.

Looking at this photo, there's not a whole lot different with this up-coming release,

What's new
1:Upper right arm
2:left and right thighs
3:head
4:Cobra assault canon
5:baby food

Everything else is the same as the MMS203-MMS204

Not sure if it will have diecast parts or not, but I'm thinking it will, ether way I'm very much looking forward to this one.

Head is incredible
