So do I because this is the only Robocop figure ill be getting. Going with mms 238 instead of the clean Robocop, although that was a tough decision.

It's gotta be said - despite all the recent QC issues & WTF character choices / lack thereof.. HT have certainly crafted some fine & memorable figures in their time.

This guy in particular, will be long remembered I suspect.

I am no 1/16 manufacturing expert (or anything) but I “assume” that this figure will not be too difficult to manufacture as it is essentially a “one layered” figure. This figure is based on one good sculpt and “better be” top notch paint application. If you compare this to the likes of Jack Sparrow (or other layered clothing figures) or Elder Predator where they consist of many small accessories and pieces, or layers/fitted scaled clothing (which alone consists of many components (i.e.. Pockets zippers etc) to make up the character. What I’s saying it that there is not much to this figure for manufacturing. I think this figure holds more to WOW factor and realism through paint app and sculpt!!!

I totally agree with you Vintij,

This is a great opportunity for Hot Toys...if this comes out like this this will be amongst the best fully articulated figures.
As a Robocop fan, this one will be very much cherished.

I wonder if this will be diecast. I'm guessing that there are at least magnets in the thigh holster, thus the need for the tool.

I don't think it's been confirmed. Would be amazing if it was since there's so much more detail on the Bd version. Adding that detail to die cast will be a challenge for them imo.

OK, thanks. I'm thinking it'll be an all-plastic release, which will be good for the wallet, but it's gonna be a little weird having one dc and one plastic.

My bad, I was thinking of the first Robo release (very early in the morning here). Here's hoping the second is die cast too.

When are they planning to put this up for PO, maybe there waiting for everyone to get there first release I guess as to not hurt sales.
