I have a feeling HT won't be able to duplicate all of this detail on the production figures. But it's still a first-day PO for me.
What makes you say that? Their reputation for matching the promo stuff has generally been pretty impressive over the years.

It's more their haphazard QC that folks are criticizing these days above anything else.

There's not a lot of smooth surfaces. I just see a lot of jagged, exposed parts, fine, intricate detail that needs to be painted with care. I hope they prove me wrong.

Don't let them get you down.

According to many sources, Vintij is still a newb around these parts. Just slap him around a couple of times.

I don't think HT will disappoint us with the quality of this release. Unfortunately, I don't think they'll put this up for PO until the first Robocop figure has shipped. It's a day 1 PO for me though, no matter when it goes up. I gotta have both clean and BD versions.

Same here. I'd be surprised if this goes up for PO anytime before next spring though.

I never use a base, but don't mind some of the diorama pieces. Especially my CR Superman, and Sparrow's wheel is nice.

I don't see the point of buying a highly detailed figure and detracting from it's realism with an ugly stand. Maybe it's just me.

We have seen BD blood on our DX13 and upcoming BD T-800. Many of us voiced our opinions on the application. Off hand I do not recall an example of BD “Robotic” armour with “oil”. I know HT’s will do a great job but I’m sure they will be opinions on the application of oil marks as well. It will be a fine line as “to subtle or too much”!!

I agree I think there is no reason why this shouldn't be anything but stellar. They have had as long to produce this figure as the clean diecast and the battle damaged version hasn't even been up for preorder. The head sculpt creation was revealed shortly after the clean Robocop was revealed.

Not saying it will be...anything could happen. But i have absolute faith it will be and this could turn out to be the best of Robocop and of Hot Toys figures.

You've certainly got used to spam posting here, well done in your post count since may.

Nice of you to notice. Am I the only one who posts often, each day, every day, on this board? Maybe I should check in with you before I post, O Master Of The Freaks.

On the contrary, you post only very rarely, yet it seems you've taken an interest in me. Odd, wouldn't you agree?
