What you might find is the "old" sculpt is a resin cast of the prototype, and the new "proto" of the imperial one is the final sculpt(For both), so it will have minor differences, but in a good way. And will likely represent the final sculpt for both.

I know this is speculation in your part, but this is what I'm a bit worried about. I think the first sculpt looks better, more like Jones. The disguise sculpt looks squashed (if it's the same).

But we've seen it with a few figures where it's tough to say if something was resculpted or for whatever reason suffered some distortion in the production process (Finn is a good example where if that is the same sculpt, that's some bad distortion that occurred).

Jyn's rebel outfit is her definitive and better outfit. Probably look better on the shelf too.

The black on black Imperial uniform will be lost amidst TIE pilots, Death Troopers and DS Gunners.

Agreed on both counts. For that reason I'm going to try and do a setup that has her Imperial outfit displayed away from the other figures.

This was the pic I had her sign so I'm thinking I'll frame it and display with the matching figure on its own shelf:

I'm really hoping Mike Mitchell does a portrait of her character. Would definitely go out of my way to get her to sign it.

...and she took the g*ddamn money too.:lol

Paid photos and autos was a mathematical necessity given the amount of attendees. Otherwise it would just be another thing to camp on the sidewalk for. But by all means imply that she wasn't a good sport about everything due to there being fees involved or that that was the only reason she was friendly. :rolleyes2

this was probably discussed before, but does the visor on the helmet come down?

I think the visor us permanently shut. No face view possible like this photo. But someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Nothing has been shown that indicates the visor can open. That would be a cool feature though, I'd like that. Maybe they could add it in if they wanted.

Working visor is pretty pointless unless you can fit the helmet on Jyn Head sculpt and i doubt that's what HT intended. IMO, we're getting a repainted one piece Jyn Head sculpt and a shut visor helmet.

:exactly:

You'll take paint off the nose unless there's a dedicated half-sculpt that pairs with the helmet.

I was thinking there'd be something like what you said, a partial sculpt of the eye area. That is, if it happened. Don't think it's a high chance, but it'd be cool.

Kind of like the swap out Batman eyes? That would be great and pretty easy for them to do. Just swap out from within the head prior to mounting on the neck post.

I can see some customs coming if HT don't do something like this.
