Hot Toys Rogue One - Jyn Erso (Imperial Disguise Version)

I'm seriously considering this one. I have the Deluxe version on preorder, and I have yet to repeat a character in regards to Hot Toys.

But this is very tempting.

It's definitely black. No question about it.

The description says dark green.

I was hoping this variant would get a figure, but I was kinda hoping it'd be a 6" Black Series figure, since I don't really have the budget to get sucked in to 1:6 Star Wars, but just one figure couldn't hurt, right?

One figure doesn't hurt at all...it's just all the ones that follow it! Believe me I know having recently been sucked in to the world of Star Wars Hot Toys myself!

Last year they only revealed one new figure for Celebration, Resistance Rey. I seriously doubt we'll get any more SW reveals this week, but one can always hope.

I also doubt anything else new will be shown. Maybe another fig or two at comic con but by then they will probably be on to ep8. Congrats by the way! When they announced Han before celebration she was almost a forgone conclusion.

Yeah, I think SDCC is still the main venue where new figures are shown off (at least in the US). As far as I recall there have been some exclusives during Celebration but only one per year (2015 was the Spacetrooper and 2016 was Resistance Rey). So it wouldn't surprise me if the new Jyn is all Hot Toys has to show that's new.

This one was a no brainer. Love the character. Too bad we won't get anymore Jyns after this. They've covered her three outfits and we all know she's not going to show up in a sequel.

Between this and the other figure I chose this version. I loved the end scene and I think the sculpt here is way better looking. It'll fit nicely in and if I pick up K2 then both will really look awesome. Used some free reward points sideshow gave to me for free so plus that and the deposit I'll be paying a really good price. Looking forward to this!

Everyone including female characters and droids will have five o'clock shadow and have been murderers since before they can remember, and the Rebellion will have a standing rule that every new member must kill their first born child with their own hands before joining.

The Rebel leader will be a cross between Dodonna, Ledger Joker and Bin Laden, and will have a hairless Ewok on a chain that probes your mind by grinding on your leg. Tupac and Biggie will be digitally brought back to life to be the Chirrut/Baze duo for this one, along with Snoop Dogg as the Obi Wan mentor character.

Not only does everyone die at the end, but they kill each other. This one will definitely be a call out for mature fans who want their Star Wars edge upped a notch.
