So that's the background SS said only came with PO on their site. It has the cut outs on the other side?

The other side is the piece of the Death Star wall . I didn't get mine from a SS preorder . And I got that backdrop as well.

Ok cool. I know is was not an EX but a PO extra from SS so I guess other places just gave it out. Was all of yours a PO bonus or were you just a regular in stock purchase.

I didn't even get it through SS. I got it through an online vendor which I got at retailed SSC price before that same vendor jacked up the price three times now.

From Matrix's pics it looks like the pleats are more ironed in than sewn, at least in the central part of it.

I heard there's a lot of excess material under the pleats though, so the tunic can get baggy looking.

That said, I'm sure there's a way to make it look right though. Bunching it up just right.

With all the issues with the HT ANH inner robe, I hope this one can be made to look right. I don't recall in the movie if they did that pleated/vertical blinds look on the costume or if HT made the decision themselves. Seems a bit odd either way.

I wish I can bring up that YouTube footage again. I can see the pleats on Vader but per usual it was taken down

Gotcha. They should come with all order rippers.

I'm burnt out on Star Wars lately I guess with waiting for all my POs from last year. I think I'm going to look for a Skeletor and maybe order Evil-Lyn they all look really nice heck if I was rich enough I personally think all the Court of the Dead stuff came out fantastic.

I guess I'd still keep an eye out for a Luke or Chewy PF if it's like a rediculous steal. As soon as I buy something something good will pop up but I see unless the EX is coming with something I like I'm no longer going to PO stuff.

Yeah there are pleats in the movie, but it's much more subtle and the overall tunic still looks much thinner than on the HT figure.

I don't think anyone can escape the SW craze at least not for another 5 years for what Disney is planning.

Do pace yourself on what you want to collect. This new year will see an influx of SW collectibles especially for EP VIII .

This year might be crazy as well as expensive SW merchandising year for collectors so I'll definitely be counting my pennies and be selective on what I purchase.

After watching Rogue One last week, I found myself rewatching the OT for the first time since I was about eight and I've decided I need a HT Vader. This one better than the New Hope version?

My waitlist hasn't converted and Vader is sold out on SSC... guess I missed my chance. Never thought he would disappear so quickly.

I read at the last minute they actually might have cg the robes over the armor . Given the little screen time Vader had. It wouldn't surprise me if this was the case
