I really hope that not only do they release this, but they keep going and release the rest of the movie rogues. A Burgess Meredith Penguin is one of my most wished-for figures.

Gorshin Riddler would be awesome especially if they could package him worth the option of wearing either the body stocking suit and the bowler hat and coat and tie!

Nothing wrong with getting wrapped up with the newest thing, but I'm with you 100%. Romero is an icon, and gave us a classic looking Joker that will stand the test of time. Tatted up gangsta Joker. . .maybe not so much. Tux version would probably be the best scenario there, but I would be surprised if HT went that far with the variants.

I'll be buying both, myself. Love the idea of a complete live action history of the Joker in my detolfs...

This and this plus Romero will complete me reliving my Mego days as an adult.

...and I always loved the look Gorshin had when he'd bite his tongue and cackle:

it would be great if this version of the Joker came with the utility belt. Loved that episode of Batman.

Since HT is making movie versions of the 60's characters and not the tv show, does that mean they'll make Lee Mariwether's Catwoman instead of Julie Newmar...if they make a Catwoman figure?

Yeah, that would be my guess. I'd think I'd rather have a Julie Newmar, but if it's Lee Meriwether or nothing I'll take Lee. It WOULD be nice to have a full movie set rather than mixing and matching.

I think anything other than a Julie Newmar Catwoman would be a huge misstep. Julie or nothin' for me.

I had no idea there were 2 Catwomen associated with 60s Batman. I also had no idea the Penguin was played by Rocky's trainer.

Yeah, 3 Catwomen (including the film), 2 Riddler, and 3 Mr. Freeze.

The second Ridler was Gomez from the Adams Family (ironically he also refused to shave his mustache :lol)series, and Eli Wallach from The Good the Bad and the Ugly was the third Mr. Freeze :)
