Some people are gushing, blushing and flushing all over because they think Hot Toys is going to not only compete with Sideshow, but get them to stop making Star Wars figures - that's one extreme and insanely far from the truth. Then other people put Hot Toys down for not showing anything, the other extreme. They just announced the license, this is a brand new development, so it's going to take them time to start working on a figure before they have anything to show. The most solid rumor that's been posted to the forum, is that the first character may be Han from ANH.

So I know it's not popular around here, but patience is the only thing that's going to pay off.

Wow...one of the few voices of reason/logic on this thread. Don't get discouraged however, I'm sure it's a wasted effort...gots to keep thee'ole interwebs colorful an all; predicting the end of Sideshow and the loss of it's license! I will say, however, it's has been delightfully fun to watch the wild speculation and random ignorance, followed by retraction and then back-tracking. These folks really should refrain from giving such bold opinions based on things they know very little about.

I am not sure it's entitlement or ignorance of how the process really works.

Sorry, the entitlement comment wasn't related to the licensing issue per se, but rather how some people may express their desire for a particular product as if the company in question OWES it to them personally - and NOW. It was a pretty broad comment and I'm not thinking of anyone in particular.

You mean like how everyone complains about how HT only does Ironman or Batman and not thier favorite licence?

Coming from the man who was pretty much the only one that couldn't figure out that HT was trying to get this license, sorry if I don't trust your cracked crystal ball.

Hey man…. Angelica made for some pretty awesome packaging material. My Medicom Gizmo came in amazing shape because he had her as a shield.

Quite a number of folks are thankful for her protection services. All I've scored is a keychain and some crumpled paper. Not to worry, there's plenty of opportunity for other characters to fill the same void.

Mr Piper contrary to your own popular belief, you do not own these threads. I am a member here and have been posting in multiple threads for many years now.

If you have a problem with this, please contact the moderators and explain to them that some of the other members offend you with their presence. I would imagine that number is growing steadily as you seem to be ridiculously arguing whatever the "topic of the day" (in your head anyway) is, in every thread I have the unfortunate pleasure of seeing your posts in.

Please refrain from the disparaging remarks about me or any other freaks. I don't smell today as I have had my weekly shower, even used some soap this time, so any smell you may have encountered is imaginary as is the idea that I or anyone else for that matter would be even slightly interested in "stalking" you. Avoid is the word I would use.

If you want to avoid other members on an open forum like this, please use the ignore button or even better: type into a blank microsoft word document and trash it at the end of each day. Many thanks.

Zero interest in fighting. But I'm also increasingly tired of the "stalker" comments. I just don't understand why he is allowed get away with it.
