It's not a defect.

It's attention to detail.

Yep. The screen accurate ST armor had an accidental thumb print on the bicep. Marmit figures have this as well.

Every Stormie armor has it, no matter if Luke, Han or a regular Trooper:

There is a scene with Leia confronting Vader on Tantive 4 where they covered the thumb print with gaffer tape LOL

Just to confirm you can use the ST helmet that comes with Luke on the model? Could someone show how it looks ?

I am sooooo loving this figure. I've finally come to the point where I'm happy. In the last picture you see the prototype next to my finished work. Preferences in weathering aside, which portrait do you like better?

I think you aged Luke 15-20 years by highlighting all of his facial wrinkles. I see what you are going for and I LOVE the weathering on the TK, but you've make Luke much older looking on the sculpt with the amount of paint on his features. Looks like you toned down the hair too which looks good. Just my opinion, still great work.

He doesn't look like he's wet after going through the trash compartment.

He kinda looks like he went through a sand storm with the weathering and the dirt on the face.
