I think you need to lower your expectations.

Sucker Punch was great. I don't read reviews b/c most of them trash great films. And reviews are just one person's opinion on what they thought a film was like, so I could honestly careless what any reviewers says about a movie. If you couldn't see the plot of Sucker Punch well then you're just blind. I've loved all of Snyder's films and I'm sure Superman will be even better.

Rotten Tomatoes is based around multiple reviews. Not one persons opinion. I agree with you about reviews, but this movie is being trashed by almost everyone, including the general public. People walked out of my screening. I don't think anyone has a problem understanding the story and subtext in SuckerPunch, infact thats the problem, it's childishly simple and juvenile, trying to be deep and meaningful. But I do agree, if you like it thats cool. It's a very polarizing movie. I love the visuals, but thought there was nothing really new here. The music was fun, but ultimately I found it very trashy and boring.
Even duller than battle LA. This might bode well for Superman though, Synder will have to reinvent himself. If he can.

Yeah, thats just crazy, although the box office is pretty poor I think.

As far as I am concerned with Snyder's film, including Sucker punch, the action and visuals are great. The lighting and colors that he uses would be perfect for a character that is brightly dressed.
If Snyder was responsible for the action AND story, then it would be a failure, as Suckerpunch was for me.
However, like someone has stated, Nolan and Goyer will have the story part in hand.
So Snyder for surface and visual bang plus Nolan and Goyer for character and story depth has to equal a successful film.

I understand about RT, but I was speaking in general when it comes to reviews. Many reviews hate on movies that I really enjoy watching again and again.

And I think it also just depends on where you're watching when it comes to audience reaction b/c none walked out when I went to see Sucker Punch and there was clapping at the end so

Story wise, I've found and read that many are a bit confused on what was going on so can't really say it was too simple but again just depends on the person

In terms of Superman and how it will be different from the rest of his films, Snyder has already said that he will be shooting on location for a majority of the film which, as he's said, is something new for him b/c he's Mr. Green Screen. So, the change could be good or bad...we'll have to wait and see


I loved Battle LA. But, I think we just have 2 different p.o.v.s when it comes to movies which is a-o-k with me agree to disagree?

as long as she's not a redhead in the film I think it's a great selection. Shes a great and versatile actress so think she may actually be able to pull it off

Well I take back part of what I said maybe its not licensing issues since Mattel has released there own version, not to bad if I dare say, but it appears that that HT might be really having issues.

In any case I hope the new superman will be better then Superman Returns man Ht has improved considerably.

Plus a new take on the suit will be great he only looks good in the comics, Jim Lee version, because he is so built but on an average man it will not work they have to change it some how.
