I wasnt that guy. I am not even registered on facebook.

haha I was just having a bit of fun. Just odd that I'd see that again and it would've been quite amusing if ya'll happened to be the same person :lol

But doing so manny Johny Depp characters seems just a waste of efforts/time to me. Sparrow is enough.

There are hundreds more memorable characters that they can make now.
As for this line being for chicks, that's just my subjective opinion.
Understood...I feel the same way about Bruce Lee and the many many figures he's been given. but like you said, that's just my subjective opinion :peace

too many smartasses. was referring to superman, clark kent, smallville kent, drunk superman from III, et cetera, et cetera.

Drunk Superman from III - now THAT would be badass to have in a 2 pack with a Kent figure or something

I hope someone can post this at Hot Toys Facebook page!
My two cents for today!:wave

Whilst I would post that, Arnie was done with the sculpt months ago so it would seem HT who are causing the delay. Be it factory issues or other aspects of the figure beside sculpt.

Either way, if this turns into an AVATAR type waiting game it will be most frustrating.

Frustrating how?

HT said they are making him. What difference does it make if they show him tomorrow night or in June :dunno

I've been giving this some thought. Having made a custom recently, I think they may have had a few technical problems with this figure.

Firstly the head may well be done but that is not the be all and end all.

They are going to need an entirely new base body. Yes the royce body is good, but the arms and legs are a little short, also the thigh needs to be bigger, but not as big as the existing thigh pieces make them. The neck is also a little thick, it may need improved articulation so the figure can look up properly for flying poses.
Secondly we may be getting several heads, as it's a DX we may get Superman with moving eyes, Clerk Kent and I was also thinking that they may use theire light up feature for the eyes, like Wesker. This would create isses for the neck or may need working into the head.

Costume, if suppose were getting both Supes and CK, then thats a lot of costuming work.
The chest emblem, do they use a stick/iron on, print it, use fabric? We want accuracy so that is a conundrum.
The cape, despite looking really simple it's not, getting it to hang right, sit right, have no visible seams. Do they attach it to the suit or do it the same way as the costume, that cape had a collar the folded under the suit and was tied under Reeves arms and around the back. I'd also like it with a wire to make it poseable.
Boots, Hot toys generally do molded boots, if so, then they need at least two pairs, one flying pointed, one pair flat standing. It gets even more complicated if they do a 'touchdown' foot pose.
If they've gone for a flexible boot, it creates problems with what to use. Leather, Vynil, other flexible compounds may not flex enough and split.

The there are accesories to look at, the base etc.

Plus I don't think they have that big a team, they have a lot of projects/licenses at present. They may be over stretchning themselves a bit.
There's a lot of work in getting this right, and given the bashing they've had recently on there Indy figure, they may not want to risk another fail.....yet.
