im not gonna leave the thread, but I have a feeling that there are going to be so many ppl that will be like "blank isn't right. it's supposed to look this *insert movie still*" IMO
I can understand ppl nitpicking about joker and batman as their V1 figures were pretty off the mark, but since this will probably be the only 1/6 CR superman, i'm just happy that it's being done by the best 1/6 company to date and know they won't let us down

This is a thrill! For a very long time, many were begging, hoping to have Hot Toys make this happen. Finally, it's happening so I'm as happy as a pig in $%^! LOL

They wont disappoint but they have a lot of pressure on this one, they wont mess the suit like Cinemaquette, and i believe that Arnie Kim will hit the jackpot on CR likeness! Still would like to see how are they going to resolve the issue of the arms with the suit you know putting him in flying positions......... at this scale it will be difficult.....

What exactly is the S.R figure suit made of? What type of material? Im assuming its all one piece

his suit is a cotton/polyester blend of sorts. and it looks fine on him. the only issue is his overly broad old true type style shoulders.

Lerath you can always change out the old broad shouldered truetype with a nice Wesker body. It makes Superman look right. That's what I did with mine.
Here is the Superman with the stock body (pic borrowed from Reinhardt)
Then Superman with the Wesker body:
So much better. Oh I also drilled out the head a little so that it sat lower on the neck post. Helps make him look bigger.

The suit is just one piece. You need to unstitch the side or waist and pull out the body and stick it back in. You need to be careful not to do it too hard or too many times cause you may stretch out the suit.

on the new advance, it looks fine. take a look at the snake eyesthread. Snake eyes has a spandex shirt, and many people ported him over to the truetype advance.

One thing you could also do with your SR Supes is take a bit of cotton and stuff the suit around the traps/shoulders/upper chest area. It's what I did with mine, and it fills out that area of the suit nicely.
