Can you imagine what this site and others are gonna be like when official pics are released?

Everybody has been waiting for this figure since the movies i bet people that docent collect 1/6th figure will buy this no matter what!

I must say I wasn't really interested in this figure.
But I watched all 4 Superman films last weekend (5, actually pt 2 both cuts), which were new to my besides pt 1. Now I am definitely more interested in this.

Not sure if I'm gonna get this fig, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it!!

It does all feel rather pre-destined that it should happen this way and at this time. Fans like myself are used to waiting when it comes to the Superman Movies. We waited decades to see the Donner footage, then it all comes at once, we denied the existance of the deleted scenes from Superman IV, then they were found and released. We said we'd never have a release of a 100% remastered soundtrack of all the movies and bam - there you go.
As far as I'm concerned, the Planets were aligning waitning for Arnie Kim and HT to produce this. All I want is, like everything else I've described here, for it to be definitive, and I'm certain it will.

It does all feel rather pre-destined that it should happen this way and at this time. Fans like myself are used to waiting when it comes to the Superman Movies. The same here, also i know there are a lot of fans that prefer a Chris Reeve Superman at 1/6th scale but as a hard core fan of this character and Chris interpretation i would love to see this guy in a 1/4th or 1/3rd scale............... that docent include the Cinemaquette btw

People will always slam a likeness for whatever reason. Some do it just to piss off the fans in the thread, tis the internet. Judging by HT's recent releases, I'm sure this will be another masterpiece and no troll posting negativity in a thread is going to change whether or not I'm going to buy it.

Well I agree that theres people who will criticise for the sake of it or to piss others off

That said, not allof hot toys recent releases have been home runs - but I'm confident this one will be given the high profile and the artists involved

Yeah I have to agree, there have been quite a few ____-ups from HT lately. Maybe they have taken on too many licenses? However I would be very surprised if this is not perfect. being a grail for so many. Me included! fingers crossed.

Yeah, but isn't already confirmed that the actors play the big part in choosing which head sculpt to use? They submit some sculpts for the actor/actress to choose from and more often than not the neutral expression are chosen. What I fail to understand is why HT is inconsistent with giving us alternate heads. Their Aldo figure would've benefited most from this.

By Hot Toys own standards it wasn't as dead on as some of their other sculpts but it's still a nice looking figure. To call it a _____k up is absurd.
