By Hot Toys own standards it wasn't as dead on as some of their other sculpts but it's still a nice looking figure. To call it a _____k up is absurd.

The sculpt is one thing, creatively that was a dissapointment but the giraffe neck is a mistake. As was the sculpt on Sarah T1000, as was the sculpt choice on Perseus and Aldo. What about the glueing on the DX stands?. The Dx02 oil leak? etc etc. Don't get me wrong, I own nearly all those mentioned, And I still like all of them.

It's a matter of opinion I guess? But I bet the sales department might not agree with you.

Anyway the point was, I have high hopes for Reeves it will be a tent pole release I think. I hope!

The Aldo Raine figure is awesome as-is. If you don't like it, that's a You problem.

As awesome as the sculpt is, you do have to admit that a smirking face would've been more appropriate.

So many other figures coming out this year... Never been a huge fan of CR Superman... He'll be completeting with other figures which movies I loved... I dont know if Ill buy him or not... I know for sure Ill be buying Bruce Lee and T-800 T1... But I love there films Superman is film I havent seen in at least 10 years... It really has been that long... I remember reading the DX post and thinking well I guess its time to buy Superman on Bluray and justify buying the figure the point is I havent bought the Bluray because if I havent seen a film in 10 years... when ive seen the movies i love all 100s of times the figure isnt worth it... So I easy pass on this... I respect CR as Superman... But hope the new guy who ever he may be in Nolans new films really wows me and makes me remember other wise it will be a long time before I spene almost 200 on a Sups figure... Thats what I think I know Ill get all kinds of crap for saying this but Ill be back to read it all later... Ill enjoy it but right now I will not be buying this figure... Thats after much thought...

Already confirmed it's two PERS heads... unless they figure out something amazing, we probably won't get light up eyes.

Guessing that You've not noticed that BOTH Albert Wesker, AND DX batman have light up eyes already.

i'm anticipating heat vision eyes.

Yeah I forgot it was BL they confirmed two PERS, so light up would've been impossible then. I've started to mix this release with BL after all that anticipation, haha.

My issue is not whether or not you like particular figures, but whether they deserve to be described as _____k ups.

To me the Prince of Persia figure is really nice although not one I'm particularly interested in. It's now well known the final choice of sculpt is with the studio or whoever commissioned it, not Hot Toys. And the Aldo sculpt is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. I've shown the blown up photos to people who would have no interest in this and they've been open mouthed in amazement at its likeness, detail and realism.
Sarah Connor/T1000 looked fine to me as a reasonable depiction of that character, not one I was particularly interested in.

No I'm not thanks for asking. Now just appreciate that everyone has different views and opinions. One is not more valid than another.
So I'm not going to bother reposting my last few comments or intothevoids either.

I will just finish by saying Hot Toys ____ed up DX 02 one of their biggest ever releases. Go to the 1000 page thread on the subject.

Now back to Reeves. Couldn't care less about light up eyes, I think PERS could work well with blue eyes ( something we haven't seen yet ) and I hope he comes with some crystal items, green shard, perhaps a light up base.
