Re: Hot Toys Superman

Arnie Kim has already posted on his Facebook page for everybody to see that he has finished the sculpt. We just need to be patient

Sweet :) finally hearing something from the man his self Arnie, can't wait for HT to give us some Pic's.

Re: Hot Toys Superman

wow everybody's into this... no update but this keeps on running!!!

Re: Hot Toys Superman

I read somewhere that Katee Sackhoff was actually waterboarded during filming of Season 8 of 24. If an actress can endure it for whole day for a TV show ... is it really too strenuous for a terrorist?

Back on topic -- I preordered the Indy. That's still really high though, so I may cancel and just be happy with the SS Indy. I'd probably spend that much on Reeve's Superman, or a few other characters (Jack Bauer, The Unit, John McClane, Jason Bourne, Tony Almeida) ... but not many.

If the Chinese currency is re-valued like the US is suggesting, we'll end up paying a lot more for these figures.:(

Re: Hot Toys Superman

As disappointed as I am with Indy's price,I'm still going to pick one up(Flexpay 100%).I,however,think that Indy's price might be a one time thing due to Lucas' licensing fees(you were right evilface.)But I don't think this is going to be the DX standard from now on.

Re: Hot Toys Superman

I hope it's not, $250 is way too much for a 1/6th figure. I could understand that if the sculpt was dead on then maybe I'd think about. I hope that Superman and the Sparrow figs are under the 200 range. Look at the bruce lee fig, it comes with two heads with the pers system and you can still get it in the 180 range at Alter Ego. So hopefully it's just for the Lucas franchise.

Re: Hot Toys Superman

Judging by this picture i understand why Superman hasn't been shown.......looks bad (head sculpt only)

It's a pretty good sculpt, I clearly see HFord & Indy in it.
All wrongerism lies in a wrong choice of the body.

Re: Hot Toys Superman

Like I said in the past, Arnie Kim is a one-trick pony...
