Good looking pics...congrats on getting your figure. First impressions?

Strongly learning towards selling him.

Other than a slight improvement in cowl shape, I prefer my modded DX12.

The abdomin on this is almost a deal breaker. I know what's causing the problem, now that I have it in-hand, and it would be pretty easy to fix. But it would require removing the suit (or at least cutting an access hole), and that's unacceptable for a figure of this price.

My other big complaint is the shoulder pads. They are enormous, and no amount or heating and reshaping will make them look in scale with his undersized head.

You're welcome man. Other members on the board really like it ... Perhaps i was waiting too much from it :dunno

Anyway, no i calm down with my passion because i have to save up for the Pop Culture Shock Akuma Life Size Bust :yess::yess::yess:

Mine should arrive from bbts today. Dust has a way of invading most spaces. If dust cannot get in air doesn't stand a great chance either.

Is it a lot of dust that gets through or mostly at the corners?

Personally, I think the figure is nice looking and I like the mouth pieces but they still haven't gotten the likeness/ cowl combo right yet.

Totally agree that's why I prefer my EB ;-)

Based on pictures EB just doesn't do it for me. The suit looks dated, the face with cowl looks too full. Prefer more details, edge to HT

i think the DX12 has the suit built better and materials too. While i like this QS001, i find it has more issues then the DX12, maybe because it's a much larger scale and this really stick out. I know there's no such thing as a perfect figure, but for what we pay, there shouldn't be as many QC issues as i'm experiencing lately.
Hopefully sideshow will help me out and to those who asked, i have both an Exclusive and Regular figure, and both suffer the same impressions on the black armor plates which i believe come from the foam padding.
I think once the figure is assembled and still fresh, HT doesn't let the plates cool down and stuff the figure in the padding and leaves an impression on the plates, wherever the foam rubs on the legs, sides and fron, there's the damage. Those who don't have this, congrats and you're lucky!

The sculpt of the EB Batman is almost unreacheable. I preordered the 1/4 hot toys but i'm sure that the cowl sculpt will not be like my EB.

Man, that's too bad. I was looking forward to your impressions on the figure. So it's the fabric bunching underneath that's causing the abdomen to stick out? Maybe there's a way to make an access hole from inside the figure with the neck post pulled out?

Fair enough. I like the BB suit a bit better because I think it's more iconic, and looks more intimidating and panther-like. The cowl looks so believable in that a head could actually fit it compared to the QS001, which seems a bit undersized from pictures.

I don't have this in hand yet. But from pics, to me. I think the shoulder pads are done alot better then the dx12. I don't have a problem with the size of them at all. But on my dx12 the pads always bothered me. Like they are too long down the arm.

Looks like the bat symbol / chest is scratched?

How I've displayed my Bats. Took the bottom shelf out the detolf, put a DKR poster behind. Put a raised platform in covered in black cloth.
