I was lucky enough today to grab it from sideshow. I saw the posting and grab it asap. Now it's sold out again. This happened a few days ago with the DX13. Was searching online for one and saw Sideshow have it up again and purchased it right away. It's sold out now. I called S.S. today and asked them how come some of these figures are showing up randomly and she told me that sometime they would saved a few for contest. I guess I was just lucky.

That was my first thought as well with it being this late in the game for this release
I wouldn't get too concerned, but I would inspect the figure thoroughly (as you should with any high end purchase).
Okay, definitely will now. I picked up the DX 13 from them the same week I saw 1/4 scale batman back on the site.
Just inspect the figure for any issues, if not, it shouldn't be a problem.
SSC do sometimes find some hidden gems in their warehouse from time to time.

Well Sideshow say they don't sell returns from other customers to new customers but I take that statement with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, if it was a return there was probably nothing wrong with the figure, the customer probably just returned it within the 30 day period because they no longer wanted it maybe.
I know they say that, but do know for a fact if that is true?
Who knows.
Back during 08-09, they found a Ht robocop in their warehouse and put it up on their website which was snatched up instantly. With that in mind, I guess its not all too surprising if they were to find these in their warehouse as this is a pretty recent release.

That's true this figure is not even a year old, too bad they didn't find some EX's in their warehouse.
The ex cowl is heavily recasted, its not even a popular ex item tbh. 
That being said, I don't like having a fake/recast stuff in my collection, thats why I got the ex.

Oh yeah I forgot that it got recast, so that explains why the price of the EX has remained stable then. But yeah I like to have the genuine EX just like you do.

I had no choice I got the non exclusive for $350 at a comic book store. I wasn't passing that up to get the exclusive! It was getting a recast for me haha.

Two questions, fellas.
1) So, I don't want to use a the HT stand anymore. I want something flatter, ideally more minimalist, and something that allows his feet to be even/flat and I can do dynamic poses without worry of the figure falling. Any ideas? I currently have him inside a curio standing flat footed with no stand at all--but I don't want this to be my long-term solution.
2) Where do people find/buy the wired capes?

1 Buy a Dynamic Stand, don't put the clip on, then just slide the upright rod between his suit and his belt. Stays put perfectly.
or
Buy a block of wood and drill a hole in it. Then stick the HT crotch grabber in the hole:

Thanks Jokes. The Dynamic Stand from Hot Toys, right? But wouldn't the base platform be too narrow for the 1/4 figure's feet? Maybe he could just have one foot on and one foot off, I suppose.
