Had a little help opening it, this little thief was watching me the whole time. Every time I'd look away, a packing peanut would be gone.

First impressions, high quality.

When I first opened my Enterbay 1/4ers, I sorta had this instant buyers remorse upon opening. Handling them, I was afraid to move every joint. Not with this guy. All the ratchet joints feel nice and smooth, everything's very flowing with it. Right now I'm looking at this guy and thinking, "does it really need any mods?". I watched a lot of reviews the last couple of days, including Maglor's tutorial video, and I guess I don't see the gut or shoulder issues. This seems like an extremely well made, and good looking, figure from head to toe. Maybe if I mess around with it more, I'll notice more faults. I haven't inspected everything.

When I had my 1/4 Terminators, I almost immediately had bad, unsure vibes about it and already contemplated selling them (which I ended up doing). This guy on the other hand isn't just 1/4. It's like everything I love about 1/6, but blown up with superior detail and accuracy. I'm glad I waited and got an extremely good deal on it. Sure, no exclusive bat cowl, but I won't be displaying that look anyway (even though the Bale likeness is ****ing astonishing). The only thing that would make me consider selling it will depend how armory Batman turns out. If it's a lil' QS in person, I might be tempted to off this guy. I'm still not 100% on board with 1/4 in general, "wrong scale". Still, from a purely "Batman figure" perspective, I'm loving this guy.

The only thing I truly dislike is the crappy base and those pointless trophy masks. Scarecrow reminds me of a dinky refrigerator magnet. I am going to try and sell the box, EMP gun, base and the three villain masks.

Congrats, brother:rock

Agreed on all points btw. I didn't do any mods at all, perhaps the gloves could use a bit of a mod, but it's not that bad. I doubt you can sell those parts at this time, at least for a decent price, since there isn't that many of 1/4 collectors out there.

And no, I don't think the 1/6 scale batman from armory is on par with this one, just look at the shoulder part, it's still one whole piece, which isn't accurate at all, it should be two separate piece like this one. Any more pics of batman and how you set him up?

Congrats, it's really a great figure. Agreed about the trophy masks, for the most part. Bane mask is worth keeping just for this pose....otherwise, sell the extra stuff & you should be able to recoup a good amount of your cash. I don't use the Joker or Scarecrow mask anymore, it was just too much.

I don't mind the base as much as others because I like the bent knee pose...

I get that you are reluctant to buy 1/4th scale since they are too big and thus, take up too much room. But I think you just need to be selective of what you are willing to buy at 1/4 scale rather than be a 1/4 scale collector as well as 1/6th collector. Thus, I think there are some items where you need to break the rules in order to obtain the best pieces and this is one of those occasions.

Congrats man it's a good piece, are you planing to buy a custom cape?

I agree the only thing better about the armory Batman are the squinty eyes but the face plates are a bit of a let down. So overall the QS001 is better because the face plates are 100% Bale.

So will you be buying the HT QS Joker when they release it? ;)

I wish I had so many figures that I couldn't remember exactly how many I had...

I'm somewhat of a detail freak not long ago, that Id go through each figures I bought and sell of those that have minor defects which will bother me to the point that I have dreams and can't sleep at night thinking bout it. So I usually buy a few, pick out the good ones, and sell the ones that are less than perfect in my eyes off on ebay. Im not talking bout broken legs arms or anything like that, but more of small details like paint job differences between heads, etc. Believe it or not, there are painting differences between batches even on HT stuffs.

But I finally figured out that kind of collecting habit will eventually ruin the hobby for me, so now Id usually let it slide. Feel better with collecting now :lol
