I got mine yesterday and BOY OH BOY is he awesome!!!!!

I popped off the normal forearm armor and replaced it with the missles armor...BADASS!!!

I was saddened to read some posts on here that some only bought this guy to scalp him on the secondary...shiesty....but whatever...yeah it's kinda tempting to flip him for $400 to $450, but I'd rather enjoy my figure..I feel sorry for the folks still having to pay those scalper prices for the Mark VI.

I digress...this figure is an A++++ The figure had no QC issues, however the box had some dings unfortunately...don't know if SS would refund anything since my box isn't minty fresh....anyone ever have any dealings with SS CS regarding a box being dinged? To me it is as much a part of the figure as the figure itself...I'm sure other folks mileage may vary though.

If you contact any customer service anywhere for a dinged box you may have an issue or two.

When I got my Keaton Batman, one of the corners was dings up pretty badly. I immediately emailed SS and they responded within a day. They asked for pics and after I sent them, they instantly sent me a tracking number for a new, pristine box.

Got mine in yesterday and like others here, I really like this figure. Mine had no QC issues - one back heel plate had to be snapped back in, but that's no big deal. Having no seen the rubbery underwear issue first-hand, I would why HT went that route. It's not like it effects articulation that much, I guess maybe they were worried it would scrape against the thigh sections too much.

I've bought HT figures in the past, but always avoided the trappings of the IM armor collection, now I might be hooked. I'm starting to look at the Mark I 2.0 and Mark II Unleashed as possibly my next purchases.

As for box dents or issues, it's really hard to fault SSC themselves. These boxes make a long trip across the Pacific and anything can happen. I've bought HT figures from other sites that double box the figure (they put the HT shipper in another larger box with packaging) and they can still come in with box damage. Maybe the correct complaint would be wishing HT might add alittle extra support to their boxes, kinda like how SSC used to have those styrofoam inserts in their boxes.

Got mine yesterday! AWESOME, AWESOME TOY! I absolutely love it! I began some toy photography which I'll be posting soon!

Since this is my first Hot Toys figure, I'm still learning all of the little add ons to it. Since it didn't come with instructions, I had to refer to Youtube for some things. I still haven't figured out all of the armor pieces yet (namely missile part attachments), but the inter-changeable head, hands, and light up features are sweet!

My only complaint so far is the matter in which it was shipped. Mine arrived with a small dent in the upper right corner of the package which was obviously done during transport to my home! At least, it didn't arrive crushed over broken. Never was a big fan of UPS anyway. I know people who worked for them and heard the employee horror stories.

Otherwise, no QC issues with the toy at all. No missing parts, no broken pieces, no paint flaws, and all mechanics work (so far). I'm still "playing" and learning about it and about HT's product. So far, I'm VERY impressed and looking forward to getting more!

He DOES come with instructions. Did you look everywhere? I don't remember where they taped his down. It might be on the back of the black tray.

The instructions should be underneath/behind the black base plate in a clear bag.

Yeah it does seem pretty random. I should add that mine hasn't actually converted yet. I meant that I got the e-mail saying that it will. Here is the e-mail.

The Gantry comes with Mark IV not III....although I'm sure a Mark III 2.0 will be coming since they showed that Stealth Mark III at SDCC last year I think...and the Mark II Unleashed they just did, you know they'll do it.

I just took advantage of the situation. I signed up for the special newsletter just so I could order it. I already have the first Mark VI so with the money I made off the new one I could buy a different HT figure. They're not cheap ya know. If someone wants to pay me more than what I paid that's there choice and not your concern. I don't see any problem with it.

Agreed on the post above. You snooze you loose and it's not like SS lets you buy more then one per account. I tired since I wanted another one to trade for something I don't have.
