I hope you're happy, Iron Man's helmet took a tumble off the shelf for this pic and now has a very, very small ding on the side. Battle damage I guess, lol. Anyway, here you go.. wrist laser.

:hi5: YEAHP!! Thank you, sorry about the helmet though :monkey4
IM always has dings anyway :D

As much as I'm not a big fan of buying toys to for resale, I do agree that this is very true.

I personally got REALLY lucky that I got into Hot Toys THREE days before the Avengers Mk.VI went up for order (I had just paid for Mk.II AU and Mk.V off of eBay), and I'm really grateful that someone had posted the link to it in this thread early on.

What lucky? Once you get bit by the HT bug, youve just run out of luck :horror
:lol

I just took advantage of the situation. I signed up for the special newsletter just so I could order it. I already have the first Mark VI so with the money I made off the new one I could buy a different HT figure. They're not cheap ya know. If someone wants to pay me more than what I paid that's there choice and not your concern. I don't see any problem with it.

Years ago when collecting Star Wars POTF2 I used to get ticked off at people who bought just to sell for a profit. Doesn't bother me anymore. Their money to do with what they want. My fault if I was slow to the line.

I got on the waitlist for the MVI with full intention of keeping it. Even though I am not an Avengers fan I do like the IM movies and thought it would be cool to have a TS sculpt in my small collection. After some thought, and seeing the resale value of them on ebay I changed my mind. I decided that if my w/l converted I was gonna use it as trade bait to get something I want more. Something that I missed out on that has a high current resale value. Like the DX01 Joker. I'm sure there are people out there sitting on a DX01 that bought it with the same exact intention.

what happen to the light base Avengers is that included ? so far can't see any post picture of it tho ?:panic:

I did not know that. But I'm still new at this. Thanks for that info.

Oh not a problem - just tell SS next time to do a pack out before they ship out the figure. I just don't see why I have to pay $10 for that; if it was like $5, perhaps but just paying that much extra to protect the box doesn't seem worth it.

The brown boxes that HT uses don't seem that right either - it's not perfectly 'square' on the inside and can see it crumpling the HT figure boxes easily. I think it needs to be changed on HT and SS sides!

I agree, that seems a little high for packing material. You would think that since these are high dollar collectible items, they would take the extra care anyway. Oh well. Its business I suppose. Thanks again.

I wonder if SS ever thought to themselves, hey if we pack our boxes just a bit more carefully, we can avoid most of the customer service calls about damaged boxes! :panic:

I wonder if SS packs their toys more carefully than HT; I never ordered a SS toy from SS so I don't know...:slap

Many years ago, when Sideshow was still putting out a bunch of 1/6 figures (Planet of the Apes,Universal Monsters, X-Files, Van Helsing, Hellboy, etc), I had a string of bad luck concerning box condition with my orders. After several customer service contacts, they started double-boxing all my orders. Since that time, I haven't had any problems. My Exclusive Mark VI came double-boxed, and I only paid $15.83 in shipping cross-country (I'm on the east coast), so I don't think they charge me extra.

People who are concerned about the box being crumpled can tell SS to do a pack out for an extra $10. But I refuse to do that!

i asked for a pack out for my batman bruce wayne figure and they charged me $10 but guess what they shipped it without a pack out and i had to contact them to get my $10 back :lol

Got my replacement stand and figure today. No smeared base or paint bubbles :rock So in short, no damage, other than what is supposed to be there :lol

It was hard picking out what was supposed to be there and real damage. Luckily it was all supposed to be there. Sideshow Customer Service comes through yet again! :woo
