Wow, this is the kind of craftsmanship you couldn't dream of in 1/6 even just a couple years ago. Way to go, Hot Toys.

Both of these figures kick-ass...one sixth scale ass.

The Original suit fig in this pic could easily be mistaken for a real man - amazing

The Dark Knight New Costume will be available in Nov'08, which will be our 1st wave.

It was previously thought to be shipping this week, hence we started to charge some order.

However, we were informed by Hot Toys that the stock shipping from them this week is only for the retail orders from their flag ship store in Hong Kong.

All wholesale orders, i.e. stocks for us, will arrive in Nov'08.

Hence we stopped charging orders and have re-adjusted the arrival date of this figure on our website.

We hope this clarifies matters.

This is so awesome. Just an inquiry. Regarding this unmasked mode, shouldn't the neck be still covered with the black suit. AS i remeber it correctly, the mask functions like a helmet and when unmasked, the suit still covers him up to his neck. I could be wrong. Don't have the picture to support it but i think that's how it works.

if that cape isn't photoshopped the finish on the edges doesn't impress me . Look at the right hand side of the cape at the bottom !. That has to be a ps job right ?

Basically--it looks like how they release the figure is that after they have the figure ready they send small shipments to Ebay sellers and stock their local store, this allows Hot Toys to make more money-then for the stores get the figures wholesale they delay the release a month to maximize profits. So this is the case for ActionHQ and may be the case for Toys2 as well.

So does anyone know for sure if sites like BBTS won't get their first shipment until November? Gives me more time to save, but I'm one impatient S.O.B. and these pictures are killing me. Not even a huge fan of the new suit but it seems to work better for me as a figure.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I won't be getting the TDK Batman today as originally planned. Due to public holidays this week the HT shipment for my local dealer is sitting in customs until they reopen next week.

Ok, with this version out and with the 2 versions that we got from Joker, what's the chance that we'd get a Dark knight jumpsuit version with an accessory that includes his gun-like bomb-launcher (the one that launches those "sticky" bombs) and of course with a mask having the white visors (or whatever you call it). That would really be great and piss me off at the same time.
