Is there supposed to be that big of a gap between the cowl and Bruce's face?

He does look slimmer in some pics versus others, but it's very obvious that he's bigger than he's supposed to be (compared to the film). Defenders of the Dark Knight will say otherwise, though.

I think it makes the concept that there is a cowl over a head more realistic on the figure. The Begins cowl is almost too flush with the flesh area, doesn't quite sell the concept as well, but this looks great.

Some new pics

He looks so much slimmer, movable and accurate without the cape:

I'm definitely going to make my own cape, when the figure arrives me. The cape really makes him chuppy. Even the chest looks ok without the cape...

This is all hypothetical but IF the Batpod were to come with a cape maybe there's a chance that it would look better on the figure. It's possible, right?

You wouldn't think the cape could make much a difference, but i agree in the photos so far he looks better without it, i look forward to finding ways to show off this figure with photos.

Hope we see some more pics soon in more varied poses, I'd really like to see what kind of range of motion we're talking about. And am I the only one who doesn't have the Begins suit version? He looks fine on his own, and I think the 'he's too bulky' crowd wouldn't have so much to complain about if he wasn't as bulky in comparison. The more I see the Begins suit after seeing the Dark Knight, the goofier it looks with that huge neck. Batman needs to be able to look up, dammit!

The overall build of the Begins suit gave him a physical pressence especially the neck, the TDKk suit is about being slim and streamlined so i can see why some don't like the muscle look, it visually takes away from the purpose behind the suit.

I hope the articulation allows me to get the fighting photos i've been envisioning since seeing the movie.

I love how this pic turned out. AWESOME. Can't wait to get mine.

That's pretty much how the actual Film Worn suit looked in person. I saw it from 3 ft away. :D

The proportions on this fig are very close to correct.

Once I get this guy I am going to probably hit up the fabric store and make a new cape for sure! I am going to try and find a super thin material and maybe see if I can't get some wires in it. He turned out amazing!

can you take the cape off the original batman?

Yes and no, and depending on how the cape comes off the TDK figure, it may not swap easily. The Begins cape is clipped to the suit, you take a chance of damaging the Begins suit or not being able to reattach the cape to that figure if you take it off, and there may not be a way to attach is nicely to the TDK figure.

Riiiiiight. Well I would've made a Sly Stallone/Micheal Myers/Jason Hockey Mask/Batman Begins Christian Bale sig with a Black & White theme + badly cut out renders of each with equally horrible "Glow" effects with maybe some lame text over it but I figured: NO ONE would ever use a piece of ^^^^ sig like that. No one!

Nice to meet you! :)

Well , seeing as though I made that sig that instantly makes you a ^^^^ in my books. And I've known voorhees for a while on these boards and know for a fact hes a stand up guy , hes gonna get more respect and people on his side than you on this board . You suck.
Shutup........ :D

As for the figure , I am eagerly awaiting my order from abc express.

I don't think the wrist pegs on Begins are fragile, it's that the sockets in the hands and the peg size are a very tight fit.
