That looks a lot better than the previous pics where the armor looked like it was ready to fall off the 'chainmail'. Relief.

He looks so much slimmer, movable and accurate without the cape:

I'm definitely going to make my own cape, when the figure arrives me. The cape really makes him chuppy. Even the chest looks ok without the cape...

I've said it once, and I'll say it again, that cape is too thick, it makes him bulkier...a custum made cape or a modified takara cape is better for this figure.

+ do tell us what you have done to make your custom cape

I was thinking about using the parts on my takara batman to make a custom ras al ghul.
This wants to make me pull it apart even more to maybe swap out the capes too .
Thats one thing on the takara that has always amazes me.

Ever thought the people that are posing it, are not posing it all that well causing it to look beefy? as well as how they are posing the cape not to look natural.

Like those black pictures above, they are far from impressive compared to the ones where he's got one leg up on the lens, etc

you can pose him as much as you want with the cape included, you will never have him look slimmer with that cape!

only solution to make him look slimmer is withouth cape OR a custum made cape or a modified thin cape like the takara cape...

so yess, I have thought about that, and concluded that finding poses with the included cape will not help, and you simply cannot make this cape look natural...have you seen the pictures? in every single picture shown here the cape lies on the shoulders, the shoulders are NEVER naked...because the cape is tooo thick.

yeah , I'm not a fan of the cape either.
Kinda looks like a towel rather than a cape. More like something on a robe imo.
I will probably swap up with the takara if its not too difficult.

It's the actual cape, only with a wire insert into it (If I remember correctly).
